The instructors, Diego and Karolina were very knowledgeable, professional and fun. Their standard of client care was of the highest order and they both went over and above to make sure everything and everyone was taken care of. Safety was always paramount, and teaching seemed second nature to them. The rest of the team were also fantastic, making for a memorable, fun and educational course.

The most amazing Dive Center, with great teachers! My experience with Jonny, Diego, Indo and Heitor was more than I expected. Will definitely come back for more!!

The course was professionally run, the facilities were great, the trainers were knowledgeable and you really learned they key skills required. I had no prior diving experience before attending this course and as someone in my 60's, I was somewhat apprehensive about doing the course. I would highly recommend the crew at the Gold Coast Dive Centre to anyone who would like to take up Scuba Diving.

I purchased the Open Water Dive Course (for two) as a gift to my brother for his 21st Birthday. Purchasing, booking and all correspondence from Groupon and GC Dive Centre was clear and easy. Day 1 we arrived at 6:45am to begin a day of theory and prac. There’s a canteen at the pool, but I wish I packed a few extra snacks as it was a longer day than anticipated; finishing at around 4:30pm! Day 2 & 3 we spent diving (Tweed River and Wave Break Island) and applying what we had learnt in the ocean. This was an amazing experience and has left both my brother and I eager to move forward with our new hobby and book some more dives now that we are officially certified! Overall, I cannot recommend this dive centre enough, but particularly the team and our instructors (Jonny, Joaquin, Helena & Diego). Everyone was seriously just so positive and patient. An excellent experience generally speaking but made even better by everyone that had a part to play during our 3 day course. A memory I hope to have for many more years to come. My partner and I attended the Open Water certification course and it was an absolute great experience! We've been welcomed by the staff who's been caring and mindful of details from the very beginning, making sure we complied with all the documentation needed and that we received all the necessary information before, during, and after the course. We've been trained during our 3 days course by Indo, a very experienced and resourceful instructor who made the whole experience safe but also fun! We've felt very confortable, safe and at ease during the preparation of the course and the dives, being able to express any doubt and to take our time to get confortable with all the skills. We've been taken to the pool after the theory on the first day, where we practiced all the skills needed for the dives and got used to the technical equipment in a more confortable environment. During the following 2 days we went for dives in the sea and at the river where we were lucky enough to spot some beautiful fish during the dives, stone fish, frog fish (!) and amazing barracudas! If it's true that the first dives might be scaring, GDC and Indo made us feel like there was someone with us making sure all the time that we were safe, learning and enjoy the beautiful dives! the direct but gradual, fun and clear approach of Indo has been the best way for us to get in touch with the diving world! 100% recommended!
