Had such an amazing whale-watching experience with Sea World Cruises! 🐋💙 We were incredibly lucky to see so many different humpback whale behaviours, including breaching, tail slaps, pectoral fin slaps and beautiful tail dives. We even saw the whales breach multiple times, which was absolutely unforgettable! The crew were friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic, and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Seeing these incredible whales up close with the Gold Coast skyline in the background was definitely one of the highlights of my time in Australia. Highly recommend Sea World Cruises for whale watching — such a memorable experience! 🐋✨

We absolutely loved the trip. We paid the extra for the Captains club experience and felt it was well worth the experience. Having direct access to captain Kim’s experience and Dani’s lovely hostess manner and knowledge was fabulous thank you. Seeing the whales up so close was incredible.

We went whale watching, the boat was very good, the staff was very good, they were spotted from afar, they tried to bring the boat closer but they were no longer visible in the same spot.

We had the best experience with Wayne, Dani, Bryce and Isabelle today. They may not be able to control the whales but their welcome was warm and inviting. Their enthusiasm for the trip was infectious and when the whales appeared (almost as soon as we hit open water) they were as excited as all of their guests. We had my elderly mother and toddler granddaughter in our party and the team did all they could to ensure their comfort and safety. I would gladly go whale watching with this team again and could not recommend them more highly.

We had a beautiful day. Captain Kai was entertaining and knowledgeable. We saw several pods of whales, dolphins and turtles. Photographer Olivia did an amazing job of catching the whales in action.

Fantastic cruise, very friendly staff, very spacious and comfortable. Captain knew exactly where the whales were. At times they were so close that you could fully see them as they swam under the boat. Only reason 5 stars were not given was they advertised a hydrophone so you could hear whale song. For some reason that wasn’t used. Highly recommended

Wow, what a fantastic trip. We were blessed with fantastic weather and absolutely calm seas. Easy check-in and boarding. We had fabulous rear facing seats on deck two. Within minutes of going through the channel, we saw our first whales. We ended up seeing several more until we ended up past Burleigh heads. We came across a couple of whales that were constantly playing on the surface. We watched these two for ages before the captain made the call to head back to base. The information supplied on board is great. Very informative. We had a fabulous cruise and have already recommended it to several people. This is our 2nd cruise with sea world cruises, and they have both been excellent.

It was choppy going out past the sea ways and it also started raining. However the crew were very caring in checking that everyone was ok and helpful in providing towels and vomit bags. My daughter was 5 years old so she wasn't old enough to take the sea sickness pill and became quite sea sick. The staff looked after her and made sure she was comfortable sitting at the back of the boat. The photographer Nicole was also very kind in giving my daughter some whale pictures to take home since the sea sickness made her sleepy and she only saw one whale.
