We’ve been on accessible labeled boat tours in the city and so were assuming that this was gonna be more of the same, but we were more than pleasantly surprised. This boat tour was actually wheelchair accessible, from the ramps to get onto the boat to the lift to get you down the seating area and the ability to stay in your own chair. The captain and crew were fantastic. The boat had a cover for shade so was pleasant even on a hot day. The history and little tour they showed you was well worth the money and all in all this is an A+ trip highly recommend. One thing to note, it looked like they probably wouldn’t be able to accommodate more than two wheelchair users per boat.
Our tour guide whose name I can’t remember was both hilarious and informative with a beautiful singing voice, which was an added bonus! 🤣 Every seat on the boat generally seemed to be a good seat so no one got cheated out of a good view. I thought this was a great way to experience a part of Dublin
Lots of history shared. Boat ride seemed to be rather short. Crew was extremely friendly. Would have liked to learn a little more about the Liffy today.
Tour was advertised to visit Book of Kells- Trinity College, Dublin Castle, and St. Patrick’ s Cathedral. Readers beware- Dublin Castle is closed until 2027. They did not offer partial refund or substitute the castle for another attraction. Our guide Michael was great though- filled with stories and history.
This a pleasant experience- but just okay. We enjoyed it but it wasn’t as good as the Hop on Hop Off bus tour. We didn’t travel very far on the river which was disappointing
The boat travels about 100 yards lol. Not really what we were expecting. It goes up river a bit then turns around.
Sit mid ship near window for best views. Have camera ready for snaps. Historic and humorous stories keep the good vibe flowing. Recommend for arrival day to help overcome jet lag.
It was a smooth, beautiful ride up and down the Liffey. I only hope they didn’t charge me twice because it appears they may have.
wontheful trip! It was a low tide trio so we couldn't get as far upstream as if it had been a high tide. But, on our morning trip (7/7/26) was full of historical & entertaining commentary for the full trip. We learded a lot! and were well entertained!
The boat is completely enclosed so no worry about getting wet. The guide was fun and knowledgeable. Photos were easy to take from the boat.
