Itinerario
El tour comienza con un traslado en autobús desde el punto de recogida hasta el puerto de Athinios. Desde allí, un barco te lleva a la isla de lava Nea Kameni, donde se puede caminar por el camino del suelo hasta el cráter del volcán aún activo. Después de explorar el cráter, regresa al barco, que se dirige a la segunda isla de lava, Palea Kameni, hogar de las famosas aguas termales. El barco se detiene a unos 50 metros de los manantiales, lo que le permite nadar en las verdes aguas sulfurosas, sumergir los pies o simplemente disfrutar de la vista. A continuación, el recorrido continúa hacia la isla de Thirassia, una vez parte de Santorini antes de la gran erupción del volcán. Pasará dos horas allí: nadar en la playa, disfrutar del almuerzo junto al mar o explorar el pueblo de Manolas con sus pasos sinuosos y hogares tradicionales. A great day climbing the volcano and seeing Thirasia for lunch. Our guide was excellent and she obviously had a passion for the volcano and geology which made it all the more interesting.

Book the activity to enjoy a sunset on the high seas and not only did no one come to pick me up at the meeting point, but I also had to be contacting them repeatedly by phone to receive a response regarding what happened. Eventually I was told that someone had taken the bus with my name on it and that they took the activity for granted.

Nice boat trip. Swimming in hot springs was not quite what it stated. Jumped into the sea and if you were lucky you found some pockets of warm water. The payment of €5 to access a very long climb to see a few holes that just looked like a quarry in the Uk. Don’t go in open shoes as the volcanic stones & sand will hurt your feet. Great views from the top but you can see them from other places on Santorini. I wouldn’t advise it on a hot day.

I had an email to tell me pick up from my hotel. Then got a phone call to say I should of been at the office in Kamari. Terrible

Nice day but very hot, making the climb to the top harder. Bring enough water, closed shoes and a hat. Not enough places in the shade on the boat.

Great trip pick on time a bit chaotic at port as to which boat you were on but apart from that a good day a long hike to volcano but worth it nice lunch in Thirissia then lovely boat ride under Oia then near coast back to port made better by happy hour. Would highly recommend Caldera Tours.
Highlight was swimming in the volcanic hot springs but make sure everything you are wearing during and after is black. The springs will stain your clothing. Swimming at Thirassia is challenging because of the rocks- wear swimming shoes if you can.
