Üsküdar (prononciation turque : [ysˈcydaɾ]) est une municipalité et un district de la province d’Istanbul, en Turquie. Sa superficie est de 35 km² et sa population est de 524 452 habitants (2022). Il s’agit d’un district vaste et densément peuplé situé sur la rive anatolienne (asiatique) du Bosphore.
La Mosquée Bleue a été construite entre 1609 et 1616 dans ce qui était alors le centre d’Istanbul. Sa position en face de Sainte-Sophie suggère qu’Ahmed Ier souhaitait que la mosquée rivalise avec la gloire de l’ancienne cathédrale. L’architecte de la mosquée, Sedefkâr Mehmed Ağa, est responsable des proportions parfaites de sa structure.
Il s’agissait autrefois d’une église (360–1453) puis d’un musée (1935–2020). Dernier des trois édifices religieux construits successivement sur ce site par l’Empire romain d’Orient, il a été achevé en 537 apr. J.-C., devenant alors le plus grand espace intérieur au monde et l’un des premiers à utiliser une coupole entièrement sur pendentifs.

We booked this on our last night in Istanbul, and it was the perfect way to end the trip. The views from the Bosphorus after sunset were beautiful, the food was better than we expected, and the live performances kept everyone entertained. The atmosphere was great, and the time flew by. I’d definitely do it again if I come back to Istanbul.
We had a wonderful evening. The transfer from the hotel was perfectly organized. The belly dance shows, the music, and the atmosphere were excellent. Admiring illuminated Istanbul from the boat was a magical moment. I highly recommend this cruise.

I’ve done dinner cruises in other countries, but this one felt more personal. The staff were warm and welcoming, not just doing their job but actually making sure everyone was enjoying. The Turkish show was interactive, and people were invited to dance it created a fun atmosphere. The views of Istanbul at night were something I’ll remember for a long time.

Honestly, this was one of the best nights I had in Istanbul. The pickup from the hotel was smooth, no stress at all. Once we got on the boat, the view of the Bosphorus at night was just unreal-lights reflecting on the water, bridges are amazing. The dinner was tasty, especially the grilled chicken, and the Turkish show was so fun. The dancers really brought energy to the whole night. I didn’t expect to enjoy it this much.
