We have booked a private tour for the 7 of us and the trip was absolutely amazing. They handled the transport to and from cat ba making it super convenient and easy, and were able to accommodate shellfish allergy while providing amazing and delicious food. Our guide Ninh was absolutely fantastic and made sure that everyone did what they wanted and had a fantastic time. He was shifting things as required to make the trip better for us. We had an absolute blast and would definitely recommend taking a trip with them. The kayaking, swimming and cycling was lots of fun and the views were to die for.

We chose the 3 day cruise and found this a particularly pleasant experience. Smooth communication from Catbaventures, good value for money, friendly staff on both the boat and in the office. The cabin is equipped with every comfort. The food is varied and very tasty. For us, especially the guides made the difference. Tony, Viet and Ninh. All three very enthusiastic, friendly, accessible & articulate guides with a lot of experience. Because we went for the 3 days we had to change once to an identical, but different boat. However, this switch will be arranged flawlessly for you. Grease your legs when you choose the draw. The one you best if your basic condition is in order. However, you will be rewarded for your efforts. Overall: warmly recommended!

It was a fantastic experience to sail through the bay of Lan Ha and Ha Long, swim in the water and kayak. The trekking on the island was also worthwhile, but quite tough considering the heat. On the boat itself we had two very nice guides: Tony and Ninh. They each had their own style: Tony was very energetic and enthusiastic, showed magic tricks in the evening and talked about the bay. Ninh was a young twentysomething who could also tell us a lot about contemporary Vietnam and approached us in a very natural friendly way. A guy you'd actually like to have a pint with. The food on the boat was delicious, there were more than enough vegetarian alternatives, but the fish also looked tasty. It was a valuable experience!

We had an incredible private boat tour in Ha Long Bay with our family and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Cat Ba Ventures did an amazing job from the beginning to the end, transfers to and from the cable car were seamless. The activities were fantastic, with excellent kayaking and biking opportunities that allowed us to explore the stunning scenery up close with no crowds. The food was outstanding throughout the trip—fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared. The crew and our guide were wonderful: friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and always willing to go the extra mile to make our trip special. The boat itself was heavenly to stay on, with breathtaking views from every angle, comfortable and well-appointed rooms, and a lovely dining area where we enjoyed each meal. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, creating a relaxing and memorable experience. If you're looking for a private Ha Long Bay tour with great activities, exceptional service, and comfortable accommodations, this is an excellent choice. Highly recommended!

This cruise was nothing short of perfection. I did it with my whole family and girlfriend and we had the time of our lives, with amazing views, always entertaining activities and one of the best crews we could’ve asked for, Tu the captain, Dai the chef and Duoi the housekeeper. And our guide for the whole trip, Ninh, was just amazing, he did every activity with us and talked us through every step of each day and he became a very good friend by the end. I would book this tour again

We really enjoyed our two night three day Cat Ba adventure. The hosts, Guides, and accommodations were excellent. As well the food was first rate. We biked, swam, kayaked, hiked, saw a fish farm, and paddled through rock tunnels. Our activity guides were really interesting and informative and fun when we ventured out. I learned a lot about the area and culture. As well the area is beautiful. Some of the activities require a certain level of fitness to ensure you’re able to fully enjoy your self. For example the hike is a bit difficult but definitely a rewarding challenge. We also really enjoyed meeting other guests on the boat. There are some great people out there. Lots of fun.

We booked a trip for 2 nights and 3 days and it was one of the most amazing experiences we’ve had so far in Vietnam!! What an amazing company “Cat Ba Ventures” is. Everything, from the pickup in Hanoi, to the trip itself and everything included, was just amazing. On our first day we stayed with a guide called “Ben”. What an amazing person he is. He knows so much about the country and shared so many interesting things with us. He also has such a positive vibe and made the whole first day even more special. Because we were the only ones who booked 2N 3D on our boat, after the first day, full of beautiful experiences, we got picked up the next day after breakfast by a different guide from Cat Ba Ventures called “Viet”! He had planned a trip to a nearby town called “Viet Hai” and it was incredible! We had a whole day with a private tour guide who showed us around by bicycle. He even showed us hidden spots we would have never seen without him! It was such an incredible experience!!! Viet was also such a positive guy who taught us a lot about the country, heritage and so on!! After our private tour with Viet, we got transported back to the boat, where we met new people because the group we had spent time with on our first day had already left the boat. Then we also met our last guide called Hang. Wow, so much energy and such positive vibes as well. I very quickly realised it’s the company and the crew themselves — they hire people you immediately love! Every tour guide had his own jokes, tricks etc. that they were willing to share! To come to an end: I highly recommend “Cat Ba Ventures” for a tour in Cat Ba! For me, it was one of the best organized tours I have ever had! From transport, to food, to vibes, to views, to guides etc. If I ever come to Vietnam again, I would probably book 2 nights and 3 days again.

Incredible trip in Cat Ba, thanks to the agency - We had chosen the option 2N/3T and never regretted a second. 1. the agency really takes care to drive to the quiet spots and so we were almost always alone in the area. These were indescribable experiences and we could see such great places that were really still deserted and completely quiet. 2. the food and rooms were really very good, had absolutely nothing to complain about 3. since we booked the longer version, we had a hike in viet Hai the second day. That was a DREAM. Since we were the only ones, we had a guide just for us and it was absolutely perfect. 3. our guides were a DREAM. Bill, Viet and Hang. All 3 had a very humorous manner and also a very great knowledge. We were really amazed how much you know about the region but also about Vietnam as a whole. We were very grateful to have such great guides, which made the trip even more indescribable. THANK YOU to you! The days in Cat Ba were a 12/10 and thank you very much for the experience!

We had a blast, great tour with our guides Ninh, Ben and Winny. The kayaking and swimming were our favorite activities, the view from navy peak was also amazing!
