Después de un corto viaje de 10 minutos llega al pequeño puerto de Nea Kameni, donde está el volcán activo. Su tiempo allí es de aproximadamente 1 hora y 15 minutos donde se puede caminar y visitar este paisaje salvaje con las diferentes rocas volcánicas y los cráteres activos del volcán, donde todavía hay humo saliendo y huele mucho azufre. Para continuar, el barco partirá hacia la isla de Palaia Kameni, donde se encuentran las aguas termales. Dentro de la pequeña bahía de Agios Nikolaos la temperatura del agua es de 30 a 35 grados centígrados, pero se mezcla constantemente con el agua de mar. El barco permanece unos 30 minutos, tiempo suficiente ya que no hay playa, pero hay que bajar una escalera del barco al mar y nadar una distancia de unos 30 metros hasta el interior de la pequeña bahía, donde están los baños de barro.
Después de nadar en las aguas termales, el barco comenzará una navegación alrededor de la caldera donde podrá tomar magníficas fotografías del paisaje y las casas que literalmente cuelgan del borde del acantilado, en combinación con los hermosos colores del atardecer. En un barco de madera con velas, escuchando buena música y disfrutando de una copa de vino local. Después de la puesta de sol, el barco regresa al antiguo puerto de Fira.

We had a great time on our sunset Santorini caldera cruise! The guided tour to the volcano was incredibly informative, and swimming in the hot springs was such a unique experience. Our guide, Konstantinos, was excellent and provided fantastic information throughout the whole cruise.He was exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to make the trip special, even playing some music and singing for us during the sunset. It made the entire experience so much more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

This was the best cruise excursion experience I have ever had. The tour guide is very professional, and the whole itinerary is well organized. We had a great time enjoying the volcano island hiking, hot spring swimming, and the astonishing sunset on the boat! Definitely recommended!

The tour included a visit to the volcano island with a guided hike to the calderas if you wanted to participate, followed by a visit to the hot springs/mud baths on the island of Palea Kameni and then a stop for relaxing/food/drinks on the island of Thirasia before sailing slowly along the coast of Santorini between Oia and Fira finishing with a wonderful view of the sunset from the water. Be aware that the tour goes from the old port of Fira (as most of these types of tours do) which means you either have to hike down and up nearly 600 steps or pay €10 pp each way for either a donkey or cable car ride to get to/from the port area - this can considerably increase the total cost unless you opt for the walk. The only slight issue we found was locating the tour departure point/office once we reached the old port - we had allowed ourselves a good amount of time so this did not cause a problem but better detail on where to go within the old port would have been helpful.

Organised and well paced, excellent guide. Highlight for me was the hot spring swim! Bring dark coloured swim wear as the hot spring water is coloured and stains light coloured clothes. Value for money!

Very complete experience, we really enjoyed our trip around the Caldera, visiting the volcano in Nea Kameni and thermal waters near Palia Kameni, as well as even have some wind down time to explore and grab a drink in Thirasia before catching the sunset. Our tour guide, Kostas (Konstantínos) was phenomenal, very friendly and approachable and he even played some music and sang as we were watching the sunset. We had a great time and would recommend this cruise to anybody visiting Santorini.

Awesome! The hike up the volcano was hot and challenging. The hot springs fun. The sunset magnificent! On our cruise we had a wonderful guide who serenaded us with a guitar at sunset. Great!
