La playa de Elafonisi, situada en la costa suroeste de Creta, es una de las maravillas naturales más impresionantes de la isla. Famosa por sus aguas cristalinas de color turquesa y arena rosa, creada por conchas trituradas y coral, esta playa única es un destino de visita obligada. El área es una reserva natural protegida, hogar de especies raras de plantas y tortugas marinas, por lo que es un paraíso para los amantes de la naturaleza. • El autobús recoge pasajeros entre las 7:00 y las 8:00, dependiendo de la ubicación de su hotel. • El viaje a Elafonisi dura aproximadamente 3,5 horas. • Hay una parada de 40 minutos en el camino para aquellos que deseen usar el baño o tomar un aperitivo. • A su llegada, los visitantes tendrán que caminar durante unos 15 minutos desde la zona de aparcamiento de autobuses para llegar a la playa. • Tendrá 4 horas para disfrutar del impresionante paisaje, nadar en las aguas poco profundas o simplemente relajarse en la arena suave El autobús regresará a Rethymno, llegando aproximadamente a las 6:30 PM.

Tendréis tiempo libre para relajaros en esta maravillosa playa de arena rosa y agua turquesa. ATENCIÓN: 1) Debido a que la playa de Elafonisi es tan famosa, a veces (especialmente en temporada alta) es difícil encontrar sombrillas y tumbonas. Te recomendamos llevar un paraguas contigo. 2) Los aseos allí cuestan 0,50€, 1€ o 2€. 3) Hay 3 comedores para comer o beber algo.

Very beautiful place that is certainly very busy in the month of July but which is, if you walk a little, a little paradise. The water there is crystal clear and the landscape is truly magnificent.

The guide was super helpful! Very committed and nice, fun to hear facts about Crete on the way there and home. The driver seemed to be in control of the situation and was nice as well. The beach was of course very beautiful but feels a bit overrated. Not as pink as seen in the pictures from Apollo's website. The most negative thing was that the bus drove among several high mountains, on very narrow roads and sometimes at higher speeds, where signs also say 50 km/h. It went smoothly but feels like you are still putting several people’s lives in one person’s hands. Think it is a miracle that no damage has been done to these buses that travel on these roads. Creeds for that!

Excursion on top! Elafonisi beach is beautiful, crossing the lagoon we were almost alone. A real little piece of paradise. The Guide was very friendly and congratulations to the driver as the road arriving is very narrow.
Super nice place, great food and lots of activities to do. Good bus commute to nearby cities. Better than chania. Don’t call taxi to your accommodation rather take it from the taxi stop, much cheaper.
Lovely view, a fabulous place, made a lot of photos from different points, the only flaw is the distance to get to the beach from the parking lot
Very beautiful and characteristic beach, sometimes pink sand of course like all the attractions of Crete you have to go very early to find a free umbrella, Still worth going
beautiful beach or actually there are people but it is so big that you can find a location alone!!!! Trip Tip! go to the other side crossing the small channel
If you are traveling solo don't expect the same treatment that couples get with them. Just like most things when traveling solo you often pay more and treated less.
Top tour!!! From the Creta Marine Hotel (Panormo) it takes a good 5 hours to get there and back (with a short break in a tavern), depending on how many tour guests are picked up at other hotels! The trip itself is a highlight!! We won't say any more. Thanks again to Kevin (tour guide) and Manolis (driver), top class!!! Elafonisi Beach is also great, of course! The 4 hour stay was enough for us as it was already very hot. Sunscreen is a must!
