Este edificio fue un palacio, una fortaleza, la residencia de Isabel I de Castilla y Fernando II de Aragón, una prisión, fue declarado Bien de Interés Cultural en 1931 y parte del Patrimonio Mundial por la UNESCO en 1994. El conjunto arquitectónico tiene un carácter sobrio en su exterior y espléndido en su interior, con los magníficos jardines y patios que mantienen un estilo de inspiración mudéjar.
El Monumento a los Amantes de Córdoba representa la perdurable historia de amor de Ibn Zaydun y Wallada bint al-Mustakfi, personajes destacados de la historia andaluza. Con una estatua con dos manos, es un sitio cultural cautivador y un punto destacado de nuestro recorrido.

La estatua de Maimónides en Córdoba, España, rinde homenaje al influyente filósofo y médico Moisés Maimónides. Esta estatua celebra sus importantes contribuciones al pensamiento y la medicina medievales, lo que la convierte en un hito cultural notable en la ciudad.
La Sinagoga de Córdoba, construida en 1315, es un monumento histórico en la Judería de Córdoba, España. Es una de las sinagogas medievales mejor conservadas de España, con hermosas decoraciones de estilo mudéjar. A pesar de su pequeño tamaño, el significado cultural e histórico de la sinagoga la convierte en una atracción de visita obligada en Córdoba. Visitaremos la sinagoga siempre que sea posible. A veces, se forman largas filas en la calle estrecha que conduce a la sinagoga, causando retrasos significativos. La sinagoga está cerrada todo el día los lunes y por la tarde los domingos y festivos. Si no podemos visitar el interior, que suele tardar unos 5 minutos, explicaremos el monumento desde el exterior. La sinagoga de Córdoba es un edificio muy pequeño con espacio interior limitado.
La Capilla de San Bartolomé en Córdoba, España, es una capilla histórica conocida por su hermosa arquitectura mudéjar. Data del siglo XIV, presenta detalles intrincados y está ubicado en el corazón del casco antiguo de la ciudad, lo que atrae a visitantes interesados en explorar el rico patrimonio religioso y arquitectónico de Córdoba.
El Zoco Municipal de Córdoba, ubicado en una casona del siglo XVI, antigua propiedad de la familia Armenta, presenta artesanía local como cuero cordobés, platería de filigrana y cerámica. De vez en cuando, un guitarrista local se suma al ambiente, mejorando la experiencia cultural de este mercado histórico en el casco antiguo de Córdoba.
Mohamed Al-Gafequi, médico andaluz nacido en Córdoba en 1126, destacó por su experiencia en oftalmología durante la época medieval. Hizo avances significativos en la cirugía de cataratas, perfeccionando técnicas que tuvieron un impacto duradero en el campo. Las contribuciones de Al-Gafequi se extendieron a estudios detallados de la anatomía y las enfermedades oculares, lo que lo marcó como una figura fundamental en la historia de la medicina y la oftalmología.
La Facultad de Filosofía y Letras de Córdoba, España, está ubicada en el edificio histórico que alguna vez fue el Hospital del Cardenal Salazar. Con el tiempo, pasó de ser una institución médica a convertirse en un centro de educación superior. Desde su creación en 1971 como Escuela Universitaria dependiente de la Universidad de Sevilla, y más tarde como Facultad de la recién formada Universidad de Córdoba en 1973, el edificio ha sido un importante hito educativo y cultural. Sufrió ampliaciones y renovaciones en la década de 1990 para dar cabida a nuevos programas académicos como Historia del Arte, Humanidades y, más tarde, Traducción e Interpretación. Hoy en día, se erige como una combinación de arquitectura histórica e instalaciones académicas modernas, contribuyendo al legado académico de Córdoba.
Primero fue la Basílica visigoda de San Vicente, después fue una mezquita y, a continuación, una catedral cristiana. Es uno de los edificios más interesantes del mundo.

The ruins are very interesting and still surprisingly intact in much of the site. Our guide Pilar was very knowledgeable about the history of the site and specific aspects of it.

This tour was great and really informative. We really learned a lot about the history of the Mezquita and how it has transformed over time across the different eras. Unlike some other tours I did in Spain, this one was worth the money.

Absolutely superb experience, marvellous sites , incredible history. A must do if your in Cordoba, Maria was my guide for the Alcazar which was incredible, she was knowledgeable and such a great guide. The second part of my tour was with Paki for the Mesquit of Cordoba, the Mosque and she was equally great. Very knowledgeable and her explanation of the history was brilliant. Both spoke English well and woukd definitely recommend . The communication on the day of the tour from them was excellent
