Este tour compartido desde Salento es la oportunidad perfecta para aprender todo sobre el proceso del café, desde la semilla hasta la taza. Visitarás una finca cafetalera tradicional donde podrás participar en todo el proceso de elaboración del café. Desde plantar plántulas y recoger cerezas de café maduras hasta saborear una taza recién preparada, esta experiencia corta pero inmersiva le ayudará a apreciar realmente el viaje detrás de cada taza de café. Itinerario
Nos encontraremos en la plaza central de Salento, donde su grupo y guía se reunirán para comenzar el recorrido. Suba a un jeep Willys tradicional para un paseo panorámico a una finca de café con más de 100 años de historia, ubicada entre las colinas ondulantes del Triángulo del Café.
Sigue a un experto en café a través de la plantación para aprender cada paso del proceso. Se pondrá en práctica plantando plántulas y cosechando cerezas, luego observará el secado, el tostado y, a veces, la molienda de los granos, la mayoría de los cuales aún se realiza a mano. Disfruta de una sesión de cata guiada donde los baristas locales te enseñarán a identificar los rasgos del café colombiano de alta calidad mientras respondes a todas tus preguntas.
Después de una experiencia memorable en la experiencia del café, regresaremos a la plaza central de Salento, donde concluirá el recorrido.

You will enjoy your coffee more after this experience. Steven was an excellent guide with humour and knowledge. The time flew by. We learned about the whole process and picked sone coffee beans, saw the drying and roasting process and of course drank coffee. I will know what to look for when buying coffee at home!!!

Could not recommend this experience more! My guide Marlon was absolutely fantastic. He was extremely friendly and shared a ton of information with me on how to grow coffee beans, roast them, and then prepare coffee. The coffee they make here is fantastic and was probably the best I had during my stay in Colombia's coffee region. There are a lot of coffee farms that do tours but this one really sets itself a part from the others due to the quality of its guides and coffee.

Neither of us entirely knew what we were letting ourselves in for with this tour, but we felt being in the coffee triangle we had to do a coffee farm tour, and it was an absolutely brilliant way to spend a morning. Steven, our guide, was just fab. He was knowledgable and engaging with so many anecdotes and insights into the whole coffee process; from growing, picking, preparing, drying, roasting and lastly enjoying a nice cup of fresh coffee! After an initial lesson into all things coffee, we got dressed for the part of coffee farmer before we headed out into the plantation to pick some of the ripe coffee cherries. We then got to see first hand what happens to the cherries once they are picked, helping to prepare the beans for drying and then roasting. The roasting process was impressive, and then the intricate brewing process made us all a very yummy cuppa It was a great tour, with the added joy of some tasty homemade snacks when we came back in from the coffee fields! I would 100% recommend this tour.

It was a very good tour. The guide explained everything well and the transportation was adequate. I think it’s pricey for the offering and less than an hour tour on the farm, but if convenience is a priority highly recommend.

This is a family run small farm, beautiful scenery, really learned about the whole process from bean to coffee in the cup. Our guide Nico was very knowledgable, helpful and attentive, as well as learning about the process you get to go into the ‘fields’, and pick the bean, we were given a tasty plantain snack and we drank the coffee we roasted and ground. Fully recommend this tour, we were a small group of 4, so the tour felt very personalised.

Stiven the guide for our coffee tour was amazing ! We learned so much about coffee and Colombia in general. Time was flying ! We get a coffee, then we get a little bit of history about coffee and Colombia and then we had the chance to pick up our coffee bean from the tree and after that view all the step to make a coffee from selecting the best bean to drying it, and then roast it… 200% and finally drink it ! I recommande it for friend couple or family or even solo !
