El Valle de Cocora, en Salento (uno de los lugares que pertenecen al Triángulo del Café) es una de las pocas áreas de entrada al Parque Nacional Natural Los Nevados, un parque protegido ambientalmente de picos nevados. Además, el valle fue considerado por la UNESCO como Paisaje Cultural Cafetero de Colombia. La salida puede ser desde Armenia, Salento o Filandia, donde nuestro guía lo recibirá y le dará todas las recomendaciones para el día. Dirígete a la entrada del valle y aprecia las altas e impresionantes Palmeras de cera: nuestro árbol emblemático nacional, que tiene importancia ambiental y popular para la región y el país.
Salento y el Valle de Cocora te mostrarán sus mejores parajes naturales junto a sus tradicionales fincas cafetaleras y la cálida gente que cuida el territorio. Es una gran combinación. Entonces, créanos cuando decimos que es uno de esos tesoros naturales colombianos que no te puedes perder.

This was a day trip from Pereira. We were picked up at our hotel by the driver who was very professional. We then picked up our tour guide in Salento and drove to Cocora. Wonderful time at Cocora. I learned a lot about the area and the hike up was nice. We then went to Salento for lunch. Salento was a great busy little town and we could have definitely spent more time there. Next time we will just spend the day in Salento and another day in Cocora.

I have to say what a fantastic tour this was. We loved every part of it. But what really made it special was our tour guide, Juan Camilo. One of the best tour guides we’ve had. He’s personable, knowledgeable and just a guy you enjoy being around for the day. I didn’t get his name but our driver for the day was great as well. From riding on the back of an open Jeep through the Cocora Valley, to exploring the beautiful little town of Salento, to picking and making your own coffee, it was a great trip. Highly recommend!

We booked that private tour as a couple and found it quite pricey, but it was absolutely worth the money. Our guide, Juan Manuel was awesome. We never felt rushed. He took so much time to show us everything and always let us choose what we wanted to see or do. We went first to the beautiful cocora Valley and after that to the coffee tour. We went for a hike in the valley and juan manuel teaches us everything about it. After that we went to the coffee farm. It was the first coffee tour we did, which we made our own coffee from picking the beans 🫘 to rost, ground, and everything. We really enjoyed it. Thank you so much, juan manuel, to be our fantastic tour guide. Also, thank you for our driver and the coffee tour guide. We recommend this tour highly. We started at 8am (its better to start early bc to many people)
