They never showed up!!!

They never showed up . They were supposed to pick me up at my hotel. I text messages for days to coordinate my pick up and made clear of the time and date and location. Called them several times and they never answer. Also tray to find the bus in the area, and they were no where to be found. I will report them to the El Salvador department of tourism for fraud . I will use all social media at my disposal to report them.

Scam!! Do not book.

Scam!!do not book this tour, after booking I reached out to the tour operator multiple they never replied. The day before I reached out on what’s app I was told he’ll be back to me and he never did.. I was never picked up for my tour and they never had the decency to reach out afterwards. I reach out to Viator but there’s little they could have did, the sent an email requesting a refund. Very unprofessional. I had to book another tour last minute..I still didn’t receive a refund.

El Salvador tours

We did our tour with Herbert! He was attentive and knowledgeable about the country! The ride was long, but Herbert educated us on the history along the way, it was appreciated!

Disorganized

My friend and I booked weeks in advance, were confirmed, but hadn't received any communication from the guide (Marvel) the day before. I messaged via viator and got no response, and Viator refused to refund or cancel until an official no-show the next day. We started panicking around 10 pm the night before and eventually found the instagram of the company, and called until he picked up. He emphasized repeatedly that he had completely forgotten and it was a good thing I called or nobody would have come. He repeated this multiple times over the course of the tour, as well. He said he'd come at 9:30, not 7:30 and said he wouldn't come any earlier because he lives far away. This should be posted on the tour. The tour itself was a mess - he was visibly angry when my friend said he wanted to be able to use the seatbelts in the car, and spent 15 minutes moving things around his personal car to get them out. We went to the town with the church and it was closed for a holiday which Marvel didn't plan for, as were many of the businesses. He took us to a place where they make chocolate and horchata, which was delicious, but went to walk out the door without paying and the woman asked if he could please pay "this time". He didn't even have money on him and asked us to pay saying he'd pay us back which he never did. He took us to a boutique hotel which was absolutely gorgeous for coffee tea, which was amazing, but the same thing happened. He also ignored the owner saying the 2 stickers he pocketed were $2 each and just repeated over and over that it would be worth it for her business. He also didn't have money for the coffee tea so we paid again, and he said he'd pay us back. When he eventually took out money he didn't repay us. Not that it was a lot, but it was really weird. The hot springs were definitely the highlight of the day, and he was patient as we stayed for a while. In terms of transportation it was a pretty good deal but as far as organized tours go it was awful.

Amazing day trip

We had an amazing day! Thanks to our amazing tour guide Marvel and fabulous driver Calvin. Rainbow slide is a must try attraction. We enjoyed the street local food at the market very much and the foods are delicious that you surely don't want to miss. We also learned how coffee was made fr the coffee bean fr the coffee tree to the cup of coffee in your hand. The day trip ended with relaxing hot spring and mud bath. Wish we could spend more time at the hot spring though. It's absolutely a day we spent in El Salvador full with fun!! Highly recommended.
