Únete a nosotros en nuestra escuela de cocina en el corazón de Bilbao y aprende a preparar auténtica paella Española y el famoso Queso Vasco Quemado. Harás los entrantes, ayudarás a crear diferentes estilos de paella y hornearás el cheesecake tú mismo, guiado paso a paso por un chef local. Mantenemos nuestros grupos pequeños (máximo 12 invitados) para garantizar una gran atención personalizada, preguntas y aprendizaje real. Tanto si eres un cocinero experimentado como si eres un principiante completo, te irás con habilidades prácticas y recetas que puedes recrear en casa. Situado justo al otro lado del río del Museo Guggenheim, nuestra escuela de cocina es de fácil acceso desde cualquier lugar de Bilbao. Al final de la clase, se sentarán juntos en nuestro comedor privado para disfrutar de todo lo que han preparado, acompañados de tres copas de vino local o alternativas sin alcohol. Una forma divertida, auténtica y deliciosa de experimentar la gastronomía Vasca y Española.

What a fun class! We made a starter, 3 types of paella, and also Basque cheesecake. Had a great time cooking together, and visiting with other travellers.
All of the five star reviews are true! Chef Mikel was amazing and led us through the steps of making two paellas, a basque cheesecake and a chorizo tapas-style appetizer. All were delicious! Would absolutely recommend and so glad we spent our day in Bilbao with him!
Such a fun experience! Mikel taught us all the steps to make delicious paella and cheesecake in a hands on experience! It was a fun for my adult sons and everything we ate was amazing. Paired with great wines as well, we’d all recommend this cooking class!

This experience was had by wife and I on our honeymoon in Spain. Mikel was lovely! His amiable disposition was immediately apparent, as was his passion for food and cooking. He started out by greeting us and telling us about the next couple of hours. He showed us around the restaurant and the store, explaining how it worked- and then we went straight into tasting some Txakoli! He described the dishes we would be preparing, and got us aproned up and ready to cook it together. He was very knowledgeable about any questions that we had in regards to Spanish food culture in general. He does like food so if you have special dishes where you come from be prepared to tell him about it. We would recommend anyone who wants to learn how to cook Spanish dishes to try it here. We will be making paella and cheesecake for our friends when we return home (sin chorizo jaja).
You learn about food, cooking, and local culture. Then you get to eat what you made. Miquel was super knowledgeable and engaged us individually in the process.
This cooking class was the highlight of our trip! Mikel, the chef, is charismatic and absolutely passionate about cooking! He shared his expert cooking techniques with us as well as his knowledge of Basque recipes. We enjoyed every moment. The paellas we made were absolutely delicious as well as the aïoli and Basque cheesecake! we also tasted some delicious Spanish wines. Thank you, Mikel, for sharing your wonderful stories and love of cooking with us. We look forward to returning again.
The cooking class was amazing. Mikal makes it fun and it was the best paella I have had in Spain!
A great experience. Mikel is a fantastic teacher and his passion for the food is evident and infectious. I cook a lot and I still learned so much from him. The class was small so it was easy to cook together, the Basque cheesecake and the two different paellas (seafood and a chicken/rabbit paella). At the end, we sat down and enjoyed the finished products--fantastic. So worth every euro!
