Wonderland
It was an amazing experience the guide Nelson from Expotur told us every story of the places we went, translator Justin translated what we did not understand properly, Ana gave us breakfasts, lunches and delicious meals and Felipe waited for us at each break with delicious fruit to hydrate, the accommodations are cute and appropriate for the excursion.
The mostly foreign travel companions had a great energy and charisma, an adventure that would certainly relive.

Recommend the 3 day trek vs 4 day to avoid walking on the road day 1 and 4
I would select the 3 day tour over the 4 day as you are just walking on the road with motorists going by the first and last days. Very Unpleasant and Not a trek.
The trail erosion is also intense and is not managed and if you are unlucky and go during high season you will pass 100 people on the trail every day and be sleeping in rows of bunks with people snoring. The 3 day trek will help eliminate some of this as the park is not managed for the numbers of people.

An unforgettable journey
It was an incredible experience. Sometimes quite spicy, but more than worth it. We had a great guide (William). Very nice and great sense of humor. Very nice people, a bizarrely beautiful environment and good service (have taken a lot of dietary requirements into account etc.). Everyone is super helpful. The views are overwhelming. Also sleeping and being in the jungle. We take this with us forever

Lost city trek with Turcol
It was an amazing hike with an amazing and the oldes Tour agency For this trek (Turcol). The trek itself is amazing, the scenery, old roads and Lost city itself is an amazing experience.. But the hike was really made easy with this amazing agency and Bruno the tour guide. The guy with experience, humor and passion for his work, and just normal and understanding lad. He cares that you understand the difference between the worlds and helps you to appreciate both! On top all of that there is a history behind him and stories that he shares that makes you feel good to be a tourist(traveler) in this region. Oh yeah, food amazing and plentiful! You won't be hungry on this trip. Ingrid who organized the whoke trip took care that we are driven from Minca to Santa Marta. Gave us mosquito repellent and advice the whole time on what wear amd expect etc. And the day after the tour send the baggage to our place close to Buritaca.
What to say - 11/10

Great time in the Colombian rainforest
We were on this trek with Magaly, Tyson and Alejandra from Magic Tour Colombia.
It was exhausting at times, but worth every drop of sweat.
I would do this hike again in this constellation at any time.
The food was fantastic and the accommodations were equipped with everything we needed - sometimes the equipment was even more than I expected.
Magaly led us confidently through the 4 days - both historically and physically - and Tyson translated everything so that we could understand it, while my respect goes to Alejandra - our cook - as she always had to be ahead of us, even though the kitchen still had to be cleaned up.
All three tried to accommodate all of our wishes - especially in terms of food.
During high season, make sure you book in advance, because the weather in the rainforest is not really predictable anyway.

Be sure to do it!
A great experience with Jose Garcia of Magic Tours. It was very tiring, especially day 4. but trip to the city and the Mood on site were unique. Highly recommended. However, if you are not athletic, you should consider it. The schedule is very tight and you might stop the whole group.

Worth it!
We booked the tour with travesia because we got from the beginning a great response from them. We had 4 amazing days and hat the best tour guides. Mr Wilson is working for more than 30 years on this tour and he has so much knowledge about how it changed and about the indigenous people. Sleeping in the camps was very good and the Moskito nets are proper ones ;) also the was always plenty of food and we got served very well. It was a hard hike from time to time but the guides were helping out and motivated us wherever they could. Definitely recommend to book a tour with them.

Incredible experience
The excursion at Ciudad Perdida is something you'll never forget, in all senses. Tough but amazing. The guide Jose Garcia is simply special he will make your experience unforgettable, is capable to create great empathy in the group. The staff all is great and well organized. Joy and positive vibes are guaranteed. Food and drinks are abundant and really tasty.
Just one recommendation, don't forget to bring with you some cash to buy extra drinks and food that you can get at any break point, but more importantly the cash to tip the guide and the staff all. They deserve that much that you'll feel bad in case you'll run out of money at the end of your excursion like in my case!!

Unforgettable
Seeing the self-sufficient indigenous communities was definitely a highlight! The deeper you go into the park itself and the closer you get to Ciudad perdida, the scenery, as well as the indigenous communities, change. An unforgettable experience.
