If you book via internet, be aware that once you booked, you will have real troubles finding the location of the stops, because your confirmation will NOT give you that information. Better book in info tourism or at the hotel where they give you map and directions. Calling Viator won't help. Their robot sends you to the touroperator but won't give you the number. Tour itself was worth every bitbof it. However, if party is more than 2, take a cab. Much cheaper to get around. Maybe less background info, but if loud Canadians are sitting behind you, you won't hear the audio anyways....
We were on 2 buses on the hop on hop off on the same day and neither of the drivers provided any instructions or live narration on the microphone. It would have been helpful to hear information about how to deboard and why the bus was stopped for extended duration at the museum of civilization.
This was a great way to see the Old City of Quebec, especially for a first timer! I would NOT buy this ahead of time though because accessing the tickets was a huge hassle. A ticket was never sent to my Trip Advisor app nor my email and I had to contact the office and it was an ordeal. Luckily I sorted it out before the bus arrived but I watched another group of people go through the same thing and they could not find the QR code to gain entry on the bus… It’s a lot easier to buy the ticket right as you board instead of ahead of time. They will not sell out and another bus will be coming along in case a bus is full.
This was a great experience to get to know Quebec. The ride captures the city and provides an understanding of its rich history.
There was limited narration during the tour. Could have given a lot more on history Quebec city is a great place to explore on foot.
Drivers go to fast. To much recorded music vs recorded talking. Passed historic churches with no information provided about structures.
Over the years, we've taken the HH trolleys in many cities, usually on our first day. They are a great way to learn about the area and see the main spots to visit. The Trolley is very easy to get on and off at multiple spots. Like the others, the Quebec Trolley was.an excellent experience.
We got to see a lot of Quebec City on this excursion but there is no way to communicate with the driver that you are wanting off if you are on the top level. They would stop at a schedule stop but before you could get off, they were taking off again. I would still recommend this trip because Quebec City is beautiful and it was nice to get an overview of the city..
Very informative and friendly format. Many significant points around the city were highlighted and explained.
All Good, very informative, good driver, clean bus. ran on -time., bus was neither to hot ortoo cold and this review having to be at least 100 characters is annoying.
