TOUR OF MEXICO CITY CENTER AND ZOCALO We thoroughly enjoyed our walking tour of the Zócalo and Torre Latinoamericana with Alexa. Alexa is an exceptionally knowledgeable guide, and her English is excellent. She provided a comprehensive and engaging introduction to the historic heart of Mexico City, helping us understand not only the significance of the Zócalo itself but also the many layers of history that have shaped this remarkable area over the centuries. As we walked through the city center, Alexa pointed out numerous sites of historical and cultural importance, explaining how they fit into the broader story of Mexico City’s development. Her ability to connect events, places, and people made the history come alive and gave us a much deeper appreciation for the area than we would have gained exploring on our own. We especially appreciated her flexibility and professionalism. She thoughtfully adapted the route to accommodate local circumstances, including closures related to preparations for the upcoming World Cup, while ensuring that we still experienced all of the highlights. The tour was very well paced and kept both adults and teenagers engaged throughout. The evening concluded with a visit to the Torre Latinoamericana, where we enjoyed spectacular nighttime views of Mexico City. Seeing the city illuminated from above was the perfect ending to an excellent tour. Alexa combines historical knowledge, clear communication, and genuine enthusiasm in a way that makes learning enjoyable. We highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a deeper understanding of Mexico City’s history and culture.
Great tour guides ( Alexis and leonardo ) Time management was perfect. They were respectful, knowledgeable, and friendly.
We had a wonderful tour… with a fantastic tour guide. She showed us great sites and we finished at the Torrre Latino.
1st This was our 1st tour in CDMX called to reschedule since it was raining no answer or unable to leave a message. 2nd it rained that day and we where waiting 30 minutes prior time and no one showed up to pick us up. we waited 30 minutes after the scheduled time so we left. 3rd I called both numbers to communicate if tour was on and no one ever answered my calls. very poor service for no one to answer my calls or for them to call me to communicate what the man was wearing to locate him or if he had a sign nothing.

We enjoyed our nighttime walk and really appreciated the sights and sounds of the heart of Mexico City. Carlos was an informative guide who worked hard to keep both language groups engaged!
Our second booking with Amigo tours and our second time getting Alexa — she is the best!! Not only does she carry photos, a whiteboard, historical info galore, she is the most inventive & hilarious storyteller with the most delightful details. We had a bad thunderstorm JUST as we began but it did not deter her enthusiasm or commitment. We walked through the rain to every location and truly enjoyed her narration. You wont regret the tour anyway but if you get Alexa, consider it a lottery win!
