Awful. Expensive. 2 stops at cruise liners. Waited at opera house for bus which arrived only 5 minutes later but we were denied entry and had to wait for next bus which took ages. Don’t waste your money or your time. Go by Uber or Bolt
Great route with all you want to see within steps of each designated bus stop. Super friendly drivers and always on time.

Beware! This company is not the only one that uses "Hop on Hop Off" bus. We got on the bus at stop 12; we got off at stop 2 at the museums. When we tried to get back on the bus to continue the bus tour, the driver said you have a different company ticket and would not let us on the bus. It's the same bus, not my problem it was a different company. Apparantly more than one bus of the exact same paint scheme. Well the viator version ends at 4pm, so there was no more buses.

A good way to see some of Oslo’s attractions. I bought a two-day ticket, but didn’t use it the second day. A few more stops in the city would have been better, including one by the City Hall/Nobel Peace Centre, and one near the Cathedral. Four stops by the cruise terminals is good for cruise passengers, but not for other tourists.

Easy to find start point. Downhill from there. Narration was off more than it was on. Could not see any of the sites we drove past-no stops for photos. BIGGEST waste of money and time. Have done HOHO trips in many cities across the globe and this was the worst ever. Very poor orientation to a big city.

Easy and smooth ride around Oslo. Do be mindful of the time as service ends 4pm and museums parks can take awhile. Audio worked well. Many language options.

Whilst the actual boat trip was okay, it was extremely stressful trying to locate the actual boat to go on. There were numerous queues for many different boats and all of the people who had bought tickets online were totally confused. In the end we all entered different queues and when one of our group found they were in the right one he let us know. Even then we only just boarded on time, having been in the general meeting area highlighted our ticket for the previous 45 minutes.

You can always get off if the driver is not to your liking. Stops are VERY short be ready and fast. They don’t slow down for any reason.

I went with a friend on a Fjords cruise that had to divert to Oslo due to adverse weather. We arrived in Oslo on Bank Holiday Monday and everything was closed, so we decided to go on the Hop-on Bus. We were asked by the salesman if we were together and we said yes, but we wanted to pay separately. He said ok and asked my friend to tap her card and gave her a ticket. He then turned to me and asked me to do the same. I had a travel money card but it wouldn't work, so I had to use my bank account. As we moved away I looked at my ticket and realised, my travel card wouldn't work because he had charged both of us 1000kr - double the ticket price. He apologised and said he had made a mistake but didn't know how to refund us. He had to make a phone call and we were told it would all be sorted and we would be refunded before we returned home. That didn't happen. I emailed them and they asked me to fill in a claim form and photo of the ticket, which I did. They confirmed receipt and said refund would be within 15 days. I emailed them again - no reply. I decided to re-send the claim form and ticket. Again I was told 15 days but still no refund. I finally sent a fourth email last week, and I am still waiting for a refund and a courtesy reply. I have told them that what they have done, having been told 4 times they owe me the money, is theft, but they clearly do not care. Norway is one of the most expensive places. They charged me £86 for what was supposed to be a one and a half hour trip. It didn't last that long and all the headphones on the bus didn't work, so an absolute waste of time. In desperation, I thought I would ring Hop-on in London to see if they could help. Their website says call us, we are ready to take your call. No they aren't. They will only take your call if you are booking a trip!! I was told I couldn't speak to customer services, and that I needed to email them. When I explained why I wanted to speak to someone, they just reiterated that they wouldn't speak to me, all I could do was email. What a farce. Over two months down the line and I have had nothing back. This company is an total disgrace. Catch a local bus and give these a miss!

We paid a lot for a family of 4. Buses dirty and partly broken, taped. Checked just for our young children if info would also be in Dutch, on website it says that it is. In bus 3x German, 2x English, no Dutch. The app is not user friendly. Arriving at the palace to visit we immediately had to board the other bus at 4 pm as it was already the last bus at 4 pm! Not being able to see Palace anymore. Unfriendly even indecent drivers, headphones / earbuds we had to hand in when leaving every stop on the bus.
