Really great city boat ride. It was the perfect length, we were able to spend time inside and out as well as enjoy a few beverages while onboard. There isn’t much seating outside but we found a few points. Convenient meeting spot too. Definitely recommend.
Worst informational cruise I have ever taken. When we checked into the boat, we were given no information about the audio tour. I had to go to the sales clerk behind the bar and ask how to access the audio equipment so we could hear the narration during the cruise. Instead of being provided with equipment, we were told to download an app and use my phone. The audio tour did not automatically play based on our location. I constantly had to press buttons and search through the app to figure out which information matched the sights we were passing. The entire experience was frustrating and poorly organized. The cruise itself was slow, uneventful, and lacked engaging commentary. Watching wallpaper dry would have been more exciting. I truly felt like I was on the slow boat to nowhere. I would not recommend this cruise to anyone looking for an informative or enjoyable sightseeing experience.
Really great experience overall. The crew were all super friendly and the boat was very smooth on the water (so no worries for seasick folk). It was great to travel around some of the little islands and see the key sites from the water. Really good price too tbh. Only thing to note (which didnt bother us), was there is no outside seats on the decking, so just for awareness. Highly recommended trip.
The trip through the Oslofjord was very enjoyable. Starting from the Opera House one gets a chance to see Akershus Fortress, Aker Brygge, Bygdøy and beautiful islands from close. The views from the ship's large panoramic windows are spectacular. The audio guide was also very informative. However, to use the guide, you have to keep your headset with you, which can be a little difficult if you do not know beforehand.
Large boat, plenty of indoor seating, plenty of viewing opportunities on the deck. Got to see the inner fjords on a lovely quiet cruise
Beautiful ship, very quiet. Short tour with a nice overview. I couldn't manage to get the audio guide in German in such a short time. English was perfectly fine.
When the ship starts moving, be careful as it can feel windier and colder than the boarding area. When it gets cold, go on board. There is no problem enjoying the view because the view around you is good even on board. For those unfamiliar with Fjöld, it is a great way to feel Fjöld. 1.5 hours, you can enjoy it slowly and close to the surrounding islands. This time we arrived at the boarding area about 10 minutes before departure. Unable to find the ticket office, I quickly purchased a boarding ticket from Viator's website. Purchase a boat ticket on your phone in minutes. I was able to get on board with plenty of time.
Very comfortable boat. Extremely polite and helpful crew. Stunning view of areas of Oslo.
Smooth quiet boat with decent audio guide. Bring your own headphones. Easy to find the boat. Snacks and drinks available on board too.
We took our 3 1/2 year old and 18 month old. It was very quiet when we went and they loved being able to run about the boat and look around at all the other boats, ships and buildings. Bring snacks and drinks as the on board cafe is very expensive. Would have been challenging if it was full.
