La ciudad de Suchitoto está ubicada en el pintoresco departamento de Cuscatlán, a solo 47 kilómetros de la capital. Famosa por ser una ciudad cálida, Suchitoto es considerada una joya histórica nacional debido a la riqueza de su patrimonio colonial y al emblemático lago artificial Suchitlán que adorna sus hermosas vistas panorámicas. Su toponimia náhuatl significa "Lugar del pájaro flor". Sus calles se caracterizan por ser adoquinadas y sus casas de aspecto colonial con hermosos balcones transportan a todos los visitantes a un viaje al pasado. En sus pasajes encontrarás galerías de arte con increíbles muestras de arte nacional y coloridas tiendas con productos de madera, hermosos telares, ropa teñida de añil e innumerables accesorios personales para decorar tu hogar.
Cihuatan El sitio arqueológico más grande de El Salvador, se encuentra a 30 km de la ciudad de San Salvador. Este asentamiento surgió después del famoso colapso de los mayas. Cihuatan es una ciudad Pipil post clásica entre 900-1200 DC. Se encontraron más de 100 montículos en un total de 70 hectáreas. Aquí puede observar canchas de pelota, templos, museos, etc.

I truly enjoyed this tour as I found Gaby to be quite engaging and knowledgeable about the country’s history as well as its future. I thought the rum tour was quite delightful. The gentleman who does the tour show such excitement about the future of the rum, the first in Salvador.I was very happy with the courtesy gift as I love their branding and marketing strategy. Quite impressive. I also enjoyed the tour to the Maya ruins as well as having lunch in this colonial town overseeing this beautiful lake. Overall, the day went very fast, all of it very enjoyable much to both Gaby‘s efforts and patience.
Josue was very friendly and knowledgeable. Was able to answer our questions and inform us about El Salvador history. His recommendations for food to try was top notch

El Salvador is a developing country with amazing sites to explore. El Parque Arqueológico Cihuatan is a peaceful place. Although the weather was hot, you could appreciate its wonders. Then we went to Cihuatan Rumerie; the organization, attention, and tasting were a great experience. They have a neat Rumerie and are well organized. This stop is a must!! The little town of Suchitoto is beautiful!! You can feel the peaceful life that this community has. But this trip wasn’t this amazing without Josue!!! He is very knowledgeable, kind and funny! During the journey, he always had information to share. We recommend this adventure 100% !!
