An Excellent Experience with a Wonderf

I really enjoyed the tour overall and was pleased with every aspect of the experience. My guide, Alan, was incredible. He had extensive knowledge of Mayan culture and even knew about the location and history of the different places we passed along the way. He was a very pleasant and knowledgeable person. The food was good overall. It was not the best, but I would have appreciated a little more food and perhaps a greater variety of traditional Mexican dishes. The entire tour was well organized, and the transportation was punctual. I would recommend being ready at least 10 minutes before the scheduled pickup time, as they actually arrived five minutes earlier than the time indicated in the agency confirmation. Overall, I am very happy with this tour. Congratulations to the entire team for providing such a great experience!

Horrible. Do not book this. They will not show.

They didn’t show and we have to wait for them to respond (which they didn’t respond to us or the Viator customer service team either) for the full refund. I’m so upset. This is so unprofessional.

Fun

I took this tour with my family, and overall it was a very enjoyable experience. Our guide was attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly, and the entire staff did a great job throughout the day. The meeting point was very convenient, as they picked us up directly at the entrance of my hotel without any issues. I made sure to be ready 10 minutes before the scheduled pickup time, as instructed in my confirmation message, and they arrived exactly on time. There are a lot of visitors at Chichén Itzá, but considering it's one of the most incredible archaeological sites in the world, that's completely understandable. The pyramid is absolutely breathtaking, and the cenote we visited was stunning. The lunch buffet was average. I wouldn't describe it as exceptional, but it certainly wasn't bad either. Keep in mind that drinks are not included with the meal, although I didn't find the prices to be unreasonable. The only part I didn't particularly enjoy was the visit to a Mayan village. While it included demonstrations of traditional Mayan rituals, it was also focused on selling handicrafts. My recommendation would be to save your shopping for Chichén Itzá, where I found the prices to be more affordable. Don't let that stop you from enjoying the tour it was still a very pleasant experience overall. Finally, Valladolid is a beautiful colonial town. I would love to return someday to explore it properly, since this tour only allows a brief visit. Even so, the itinerary was well organized, enjoyable, and made for a fantastic day.

Terrible! They were a no show

Terrible. They didn’t show up and left 14 of us waiting. They didn’t answer their phone or emails. No communication. By the time we realized they weren’t coming, it was too late to book something else. The customer service with Viator was great. They answered my chat quickly and me a refund. We had to wait to get it but at least we knew it was coming. We ended up finding a cheaper tour there and salvaged our trip. But yeah, book elsewhere

Chichén Itzá Exceeded All Our Expectations

We had been looking forward to visiting this archaeological site for a long time. Throughout history, we have learned about the importance of the Mayan civilization and its influence on our world today, so we were very excited to finally see the famous Chichén Itzá pyramid in person. Without a doubt, the experience exceeded all our expectations. We would have loved to spend more time exploring the archaeological site, but every stop included in the tour was amazing and added something special to the overall experience. The only thing worth mentioning is that beverages are not included with the buffet. However, this did not affect our enjoyment of the tour, which was excellent from start to finish. A special thank you to our guide, Mauricio, who was outstanding throughout the entire day. His explanations were fascinating, detailed, and easy to understand. It was clear that he is extremely knowledgeable about the history and culture of the region. The organization and logistics of the tour were also excellent, making everything run smoothly. I highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to experience the history, culture, and beauty of Chichén Itzá.

Wasn’t Happy with this

The trip was supposed to last 5 hours. We were picked up at 7:30 and didn’t back to our hotel until 8:30. We missed our dinner reservation. They were trying to sell us stuff the whole time. Pyramids should have been first then lunch then cenote.

Respuesta del operador

Dear Customer, Thank you very much for taking the time to share your comments and feedback regarding your experience. However, we would like to clarify that in the "Important Information You Should Know" section, it is explicitly stated that our tour lasts more than 12 hours. In the itinerary section, we indicate approximately 5 hours because this refers to the effective time spent enjoying the activities included in the tour, such as the visit to the Chichén Itzá archaeological site, the city of Valladolid, the cenote, and the meal provided during the excursion. For this reason, we specify that the effective activity time is approximately 5 hours. Please note that Chichén Itzá is located outside the state of Quintana Roo, in the state of Yucatán. The journey from Cancún to Chichén Itzá takes approximately 2.5 hours each way. Therefore, transportation alone accounts for around 5 hours of the total tour duration, making it impossible for the entire experience to last only 5 hours. This information is clearly stated in the "Important Information You Should Know" section provided by us as the tour operator. We remain at your disposal should you have any further questions or comments. Kind regards, One Click to Cancun

ull-Day Tour with Cultural Stops and an Amazing Cenote Experience

The tour is longit will take up your whole day. First, they pick you up from your hotel, then take you to a base where all the tourists gather to board the buses. After about two hours, you arrive at a village where they show you some Mayan traditions. I recommend not buying anything there because everything is cheaper at Chichén Itzá, and you’ll be able to bargain. The cenote is spectaculara truly beautiful place. I never expected that, despite the hot and humid weather, the water would be so cold, but it’s incredibly refreshing. Swimming in such stunning natural formations, shaped over millions of years, is an unforgettable experience. I also really enjoyed the visit to Valladolid—I’d love to come back and explore it more.

Amazing experience

Our team was amazing and so personable. Marco our tour guide is a wealth of knowledge and a great mentor to Beto who will be a great tour guide. Jose our driver got us there safety. This team made the experience great and it was very organized. They translated in English which help d tremendously. Communication needs to improve regarding pick up times. Our scheduled pick up time was 7am. I did not get a text or email until 7:30am stating our pick up time was at 7:30am. They should communicate a smaller van will pick you up then you will transfer to a large coach bus. The booking description should be more detailed regarding times of pick up, how long it takes to drive to the first location and so on.
