Avoid crowds, beat the heat, no tourist traps, get to swimm in a natural beautiful cenote and support mayan communities Our 5:50 am departure, will guarantee to be the first group inside Chichen Itza and take amazing pictures. We will start with a photo session from the best angles of the mayan pyramid without people. Then we'll unveil the importance and history of this ancient city, 2 hours and a half to discover the city with free time included. Afterwards we will go to a beautiful cenote that belongs to a mayan community, the cenote has not been modify as many others, so is very natural and amazing to swimm. The community have a restaurant and the menu is all about Yucatan cuisine, another 2 hours to enjoy and eat as well. Then we'll hit the road again towards Merida, drive of one hour average to Merida. Other things to note Transportation included Ticket fee of Chichen Itza not included Chichen Itza $670 pesos Back to Merida between 4 and 5 pm

A lovely guided tour. We were taken very early in the morning to Chichen Itza, which was a fantastic idea as we were first in line for the queue to get in. We also finished our tour before the heat became unbearable. Our guide & driver were wonderful and knowledgeable throughout.
I’m so glad I chose this tour. It was perfect! We had such a wonderful time with this trip. Delio our guide was wonderful, he is very caring, funny and a very knowledgeable guide. He made sure that everyone we’re comfortable. It was a small group and we beat the crowd at Chichen Itza. We were the first ones to enter at 8am when they open and we’re done by 10:30 am, which was perfect because that’s when buses of tourist arrived. It can get really packed. We had to pay 700 MXN per adult for the tickets. If you pay cash Delio can get the tickets for you. After Chichen Itza got to experience swimming at a private Cenote and had a yummy tacos cooked by a local family. Then headed to the yellow town Izamal. This was amazing experience definitely recommend to book this tour.
We had not only one but two great tours with this company. Hernan and Deilo, our guides, were great. We learned a lot about the Chichen Itza, went to a private cenote, and had a wonderful lunch. Then we went to Izmal which was great. Hernan also helped us book a second trip with his company and we got to see Coba and three cenotes, on our way from Merida to Playa Del Carmen. Delio was our tour guide and driver. It was an amazing time. I would highly recommend this company!

Fantastic tour from start to finish. Excellent guide and guide who was very knowledgeable about the Mayan culture. We were the first people in line or Chichen Itza which is fantastic as it gets very busy quickly with large bus tours. Extremely clean transportation. The Cenote and lunch were amazing. One of the best meals we had in Mexico.
Delia the tour guide was amazing - so knowledgeable and friendly - he kept it interesting all day long - it was fun to meet other people traveling and waking up early was totally the right call to be able to see chichen Itza with less tourists around. Thanks so much for an amazing day!

Fantastic tour hosted by Mario and Hernan. Excellent attention to detail and I loved their passion in making it a memorable experience for our group. We had first access into Chichen Itza which was great for photos. The traditional Mayan family lunch was superb and some of the most authentic Mexican food you will taste. The private Cenote was beautiful and it our group had it all to ourselves. Overall a wonderful day and would highly recommend Eco Expeditions Mexico.
I’m so glad I went on this trip, our guide Hernan is very considerate, it’s a small group, we saw everything we wanted to see, we were the first ones in Chichén Itzá so we got to avoid the crowds, the cenote is private and very beautiful, the pink lagoon is very pink! Very full packed schedule but not really tiring
When you are in Yucatan, you have to take a trip to Chichen Itza and Cenotes. The pink lagoon will give you explanation on why the Flamingoes turn pink
