Itinerario
Este tour empieza a las 07:00 a.m. Se estiman 45 minutos para salir de Mérida, posteriormente hacemos una parada en una tienda de auto servicio para que puedan comprar aguas y snacks para el camino, a las 08:00 a.m. nos encontramos en camino al primer destino que es Chichén Itzá, el cuál se encuentra a 2 horas de camino.
Al llegar a la zona arqueológica se compran los boletos para el ingreso al sitio (es importante mencionar que este boleto de acceso no está incluido y se debe pagar al llegar en efectivo con pesos mexicanos o con tarjeta). Se dedican 2 horas para recorrer el sitio arqueológico en compañía del guía. Se visitan los monumentos más importantes en el siguiente orden: Observatorio de caracol, Osario, El Mercado, Grupo de las Mil columnas, El Castillo, Juego de pelota maya, Tzompantli, Plataforma de Venus y Cenote Sagrado.
Después subimos a la camioneta y nos dirigimos al cenote Ik Kil que se encuentra a 15 minutos de camino, se ingresa de manera directa con los brazaletes que te proporciona el guía, aquí cuentas con lockers para guardar las pertenencias, hay baños y regaderas para cambiarse, el uso de chaleco salvavidas incluido es obligatorio, es importante usar traje de baño y zapatos para agua (si no se cuenta con zapatos para agua se debe ingresar sin zapatos al cenote). Se dispone de 1 hora y media en total en el sitio distribuidos en 15 minutos para cambiarse, 1 hora para nadar y 15 min para cambiarse de nuevo (es importante llevar toalla).
La siguiente parada está a 15 minutos y es el restaurante en la Hacienda Yay Beh D´Cámara en donde se cuenta con 1 hora para comer en un delicioso buffet con una variedad de platillos mexicanos. La Comida está incluida con una bebida (agua fresca de sabor).
Por último, nos dirigimos a Izamal que se encuentra a 1 hora de camino, realizamos un recorrido guiado en el pueblo mágico al visitar el convento y la plaza principal, conocida como la ciudad de las tres culturas pues en ella se conjunta la historia prehispánica y colonial del estado al mismo tiempo que se refleja la vida contemporánea; al recorrer sus calles notarás un detalle muy curioso, pues todas las casas se encuentran pintadas de color amarillo con blanco. Aquí se cuenta con 20 minutos de explicación con el guía y 40 minutos de tiempo libre en el parque principal.
Finalizamos el tour en el mismo punto de encuentro en donde pasamos por ti en la mañana. Entre 06:30 y 07:00 p.m. El tiempo de camino de regreso a Mérida es de 1 hora desde Izamal.

Te contactamos un día antes por WhatsApp para enviarte recomendaciones sobre el tour y recordarte el horario de salida. Se aborda al vehículo en el orden como fueron llegando a la oficina, por lo que se recomienda llegar unos 10 minutos antes de las 07:00 am.

- Hay opciones de transporte público disponibles en las cercanías
- Los bebés deben sentarse en el regazo de un adulto
- No es recomendable para embarazadas
- Los viajeros deben tener al menos un nivel de condición física medio
- Llegar puntual al punto de encuentro seleccionado (Máximo 10 minutos de espera)
- Vestir con ropa cómoda para caminar (ropa fresca, colores claros y zapatos cómodos)
- Llevar Traje de baño y toalla aparte, en el cenote hay baños y regaderas
- Usar gorra o sombrero y lentes para sol.
- Llevar identificación oficial si eres mexicano
- En la camioneta se lleva una nevera con hielo para guardar las bebidas que lleves
- Desayunar bien antes de salir al tour
- La entrada a Chichén Itzá la puedes pagar en efectivo o con tarjeta directo en el sitio
- No recomendado para viajeros que tienen problemas para caminar o usan bastón

They were very punctual with departures and arrivals, our guide Jonny was very cool, attentive, and takes the best photos!👌🏼 The tour is very well put together; at Chichén Itzá you do suffer from the heat, but with the stop at the cenote you cool off very well. The cenote is one of the best I have visited (clean and well-maintained facilities) and the food is very good and plentiful! You do have to bring a lunch for breakfast.

With heavy heart I have to say that unfortunately we did not enjoy this tour. We decided to book with Colibrì because of the high reviews and the fact it included both Chichén Itzá and Cenote Ik Kil, which we really wanted to visit. Travelling by ADO and not having a car meant that we had to rely on a tour. We didn’t imagine, however, that this would penalise us and lessen our experience of the archeological site. This wasn’t our first site tour in Mexico and, although it was supposed to be the most special, it has also been the poorest. Time was not managed, in my opinion, correctly and with less than 2 hours within the site we found ourselves running in extreme heat to exit the site (just the walk back to the entrance takes 20/30 minutes) to reach the meeting point. This happened not because we wasted time, but merely because we wanted to try and explore the entirety of the site. The guided tour only touched the sacred Cenote, Kukulcan temple and juego de la pelota court with no free time left (we had to walk away from the guide once realised we only had 30 minutes left). It is a pity because we will never get our time back and it was cut short… not allowing us to make the most of a very steep entrance ticket. To make matters worse, the stop in Izamal was way to long (even more so as we were caught in torrential rain and made to get off anyway), I wish that time would been allocated to more free time in Chichén Itzá. I think Izamal could just be a photo stop. I cannot say how this tour compares to others in the area but I can say that if I could do it all over again I would try to find a different solution. Unfortunately it was a true disappointment. A point in their favour is that everything advertised has in fact been offered day of.

Excellent, it is a tour that requires energy because there are several activities, everything well organized, the transportation comfortable, the places are wonderful but it is made better by learning and understanding it thanks to the information they share with us. We enjoyed it from beginning to end. Many thanks to Jorge and Diego, 10/10, they make the trip entertaining, always attentive; we would definitely take a tour with them again.

The food was terrible, and the guide did not know as much about the site as you’d expect. The guide did not stop whistling for the entire time we were in the van which drove everyone out of their minds. The whistling started at 7am and did not stop until we got back. I literally can’t describe how annoying it was. The organization was nice to get to various sites but we didn’t have much time at Chichen Itza either. It’s probably better to just rent a car and do it all on your own, especially if you want to see all of Chichen Itza.
