Wat Chedi Luang Varavihara Wat Chedi Luang, este templo es el sitio de una enorme pagoda, originalmente de 280 pies de altura, y que fue parcialmente destruida por un terremoto en 1545. En un momento, Wat Chedi Luang albergó la venerada imagen de Buda Emerlad ahora consagrada en Wat Phra Kaew de Bangkok. Una de las características arquitectónicas más llamativas de Wat Chedi Luang es una magnífica escalera Naga que adorna el frente de la capilla.
Wat Doi Suthep Es un tremendo complejo de templos con un deleite visual cada vez que giras la cabeza. Es popular entre los autobuses turísticos, pero espere a que el recorrido continúe y disfrute. Date suficiente tiempo y no te decepcionará.
Wat Pha Lat Este templo es el antiguo precursor (más bajo en la montaña) que Wat Phra That Doi Suthep. Aunque es un poco menos grandioso que su hermano menor, está lleno de historia, reverencia y paz. Puerta de Tha Phae Romántica, hermosa, encantadora: estas son las tres palabras que podría resumir al experimentar una de las puertas históricas de Chiang Mai: la puerta de Tha Phae. over priced, for 1 major attraction and 2 minor. mostly a transport service although Sarah was very nice.

Chiang Mai city tour with guide Ooh was a wonderful experience! The Doi Sethep tour was a great way to see and understand Thailand’s Buddhist culture Ooh is a great tour guide and helps explain the sights at these locations
We had a great tour. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. The driver and vehicle were great. All the visits were interesting and worthwhile.

Guide & driver arrived on time ready for our half day tour. Som (guide) spoke good English & was very knowledgeable. The 3 temples we visited were very different & we enjoyed them all. Our favourite was Wat Pha Lot, it was a hidden gem & so tranquil.
The tour was OK. Guide not bad. But the guide and the driver - two ladies were talking too much in Thai continuously. They can talk but better to find time to explain about the places that we were driving through and a bit about the nature, and lifestyle of people or area.
Wonderful tour of three major temples, one in old town Chiang Mai and two on the mountain. Ooh, our guide was great at providing the background on the temples, Buddhism, and Buddhist monks. She used personal history to provide an understanding of a Thai family's connection to Buddhism. Our favorite was Wat Pha Lat which is on the mountain and very serene with a stream and small waterfalls. Travel is by air conditioned van. Trip to the mountain offered a view of the city of Chiang Mai outside the old town
Great tour. Only my wife and I. The two mountain temples were spectacular. Only in Chiangmai for 2 days so great introduction. Nearly 5 star
Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and answered any questions we had but provided so much information, I don’t know how she remembers so much!. The heat of the day was a little too hot so I would recommend doing it in the evening or first thing in the morning and bring a hat. I learned so much about Buddhism and specifically how it is different in Thailand to other countries, and much history of Thailand as well. Thank you so much to our guide, would Highly recommend anyone to do this tour!!!
The city tour kicked off with a visit to the Tha Phae Gate where we all did the catwalk among the pigeons. This was followed by visit to the impressive Wat Chedi Luang. We then left the city and drove up to the hills. The serenity of Wat Pha Lat and the splendour of Doi Suthep were simply amazing. Our guide, Panni, was very knowledgeable and helpful. We were very impressed with how clean every place we visited was despite the crowds.
