El mayor atractivo del paraíso ecoturístico de Celestún es la Reserva de la Biosfera de Celestún; Su superficie de 591,139 hectáreas y su longitud de 21 km es considerado el espacio natural más hermoso de Yucatán. Se encuentra a 95 kilómetros de Mérida en la Península de Yucatán. Entre sus atractivos naturales se encuentra el manantial Baldiosera donde se puede nadar, también está el manantial Cambay que es un ojo de agua dulce y finalmente está Tambor, dormidero del Flamenco rosado o llamado Caribeño o conocido como Meco. Los flamencos de Celestún son los más rosados debido a la concentración de caroteno en el agua. Se les observa en su ecosistema natural a bordo de embarcaciones guiadas por lugareños. ¿Si eres un aventurero? ¿Quieres disfrutar de la naturaleza salvaje o tomar un bote por los canales de manglares para encontrar flamencos y vida silvestre? *Por razones de seguridad, los niños deben tener 4 años o más y se recomienda a los padres que supervisen a los niños que participan.

Getting up close to these beautiful birds was an amazing experience. Our guide, Santiago, was excellent. Next to the dock area lives a colony of raccoons. Having never seen these animals before, this was a bonus. The lunch was 3 courses, delicious and in a scenic beachside restaurant. We recommend this tour.

We were able to enter the mangrove which is clearly extraordinary. This is the real plus of this excursion! The pink flamingos are certainly very beautiful, but they pass for us in the background.

i love this place the weather is very good, the sea the flamingosnlook so beautifull in pink, i went with my family the place is beautifull in addition to the fact that in some surroundings thereare pleasant and beautifull spaces to take photos

The tour was good. Our guide picked us up a few minutes after the scheduled pickup time and drove us to Celestun. The boat ride to see the flamingos was interesting. After the flamingos our guide drove us to a nearby restaurant on the beach and informed us our tour included a fish plate for lunch and if we wanted to eat anything besides the fish we would have to pay for it. It would have been nice if the tour included two different options because two of us on the tour do not like fish. Not a big deal because the prices were cheap, but would have been nice. Overall it was a good day.
