ESPECIALMENTE SI TIENE QUE MONTAR LA GÓNDOLA DESDE EL MUELLE DE LA NATURALEZA HASTA EL PUERTO PRINCIPAL. Si usted está atracado en el muelle de aterrizaje del océano le tomará al caminante promedio de unos 10 - 15 minutos para caminar a través del puerto hasta el lugar de recogida por la Puerta Principal / Shutle Bus Roundabout. Camina por el paseo marítimo. Entra en el Museo de la Conserva o en el edificio de la Tienda de Regalos de Alaska. Camine TODO EL CAMINO A TRAVÉS de cualquiera de los edificios y salga al final. Continúe más allá de Lil Gen's Doughnut Shop, más allá de la cabina de "Ticket" y continúe hasta la rotonda principal de autobuses rodeado de grandes troncos. En el lado lejano de la Ronda Sobre la salida entre la cabina de información del visitante de la ciudad de Hoonah y la cabaña de seguridad roja. El conductor estará allí con la señal de captura blanca del día. Si usted está atracado en el muelle WILDERNESS tendrá que dar tiempo para la línea en la góndola verde GRATIS desde el muelle del barco a la zona portuaria principal. Salga de la góndola y tome el pequeño camino de grava hasta el centro de excursiones. ATRAVIESA el centro de excursiones, pasa por los baños y entra en la tienda de regalos de Alaska o en el Museo de la Conserva. Camine TODO EL CAMINO A TRAVÉS del edificio y salga. Continúe caminando más allá de Lil Gen's Doughnut Shop, más allá de la cabina "Ticket" hacia el autobús principal alrededor rodeado por grandes troncos. En el lado opuesto de la Ronda Sobre la salida entre la Ciudad de Hoonah Visitor Info stand y choza de seguridad roja. El conductor estará en el otro lado de la cabaña de seguridad con cartel blanco de captura del día.

We stopped in Hoonah and took this whale watching tour The two captains were incredible showing us wildlife and sights. Justin was point out mountains and landmarks, and we saw bald eagles, as well as a nest and a baby! We saw seals and a sea otter too. But the highlight were the whales!!! We saw about 7 or 8 humpbacks total however 4 of them were a pod that we stayed close to, and they put on a hell of a show, lots of tail action, we had about 6 breaches including a double breach. We had the best time ever and we were sad to not be able to stay in hoonah and go out with them again!! I can’t add a video here so I screenshot the video of a whale!!
Dennis is an excellent Captain with accuracy in locating whales plus some added comedy! The vessel is extremely clean and well maintained. My family and I were very impressed with the crew and the vessel. We saw several whales, baby whales and otters… excited is an understatement! If you are planning on going whale watching then this is the company to use. Thank you Dennis and your friendly crew
We had an amazing time at a price significantly lower than the cruise ship excursion offered. I would go with them again. We had orcas swimming under our boat. Humpbacks were spotted and we saw some awesome whale tails. I highly recommend - even though we had an engine problem. We made it back in plenty of time.

This was a great experience start to finish. The driver picked us up promptly at the meeting point and gave us a lot of history as we were driving to the marina. Captains Justin and Dennis were so friendly and funny. The boat was well equipped and comfortable. You could hear the captains working with each other over the radio to make sure that we got to the spot where the whales were active. We saw sea lions and otters and whales, and could even hear the whales talking with each other through the hulll of the ship. This was such a beautiful and amazing experience for our family. The entire time spent on the water was breathtaking and utterly amazing! The ride back was comfortable and informative, as well. Do NOT miss this excursion!

Captain Dennis and crew made our outing special and the whale pod made it amazing! We were a small group with plenty of opportunity to capture the magic from various spots around the boat. It was a perfect weather day, water like glass and a pod of whales feeding, singing, “bubbling” and providing a spectacular experience. Captain Dennis made sure we had plenty of opportunities to view this pod, as well as a mama otter with a baby on her belly. Highly recommend this team!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our family of 12 had an amazing whale watching tour in Hoonah! The shuttle arrived right on time and took us directly to the dock, where the boat was ready. The boat was clean, comfortable, and enclosed, with an outdoor deck, which made the trip enjoyable even with the Alaskan weather. The captain/owner was fantastic—knowledgeable, friendly, and determined to give us the best experience. He stayed in communication with other guides to help locate whales, and we were lucky enough to see multiple whales. We also spotted bears along the shoreline, plus sea lions, otters, and bald eagles. The boat offered great indoor comfort with outdoor viewing access, and the waters and snacks were a nice bonus. This was a memorable excursion that our entire family truly enjoyed. Highly recommend!

Excellent experience. I really appreciate the attention to the smaller details that really make a good excursion. The windows on the boat were spotless. They had small towels if needed. They even had extra cushions on the seats to make the ride more comfortable. Tour operators were friendly and knowledgeable. So many whales!!
