We had the most fabulous morning visiting Algar Waterfalls, but honestly, Yevgen made the whole experience. I’m travelling solo with my daughter (18) and twin boys (13), and from the moment I booked, Yevgen was exceptional at communicating. He responded almost immediately to any questions I sent via WhatsApp and even offered to collect us directly on his way to pick up the other members of our small group rather than us having to find the original meeting point. Such a small thing, but when you’re travelling alone with three children, it makes a huge difference! We travelled in a beautifully clean, air-conditioned minivan and Yevgen has even fitted an intercom so everyone can hear him clearly as he drives. His English is brilliant and he was warm, funny, knowledgeable and genuinely interested in making sure we had a great experience. On the journey he pointed out the different local produce growing in the immaculate fields and told us about the surrounding area as we headed through beautiful Altea – the Santorini of Spain – towards the waterfalls. When we arrived, he parked up and walked us right to the entrance, giving us some invaluable advice before leaving us with two hours to explore. The entrance fee (not included in the trip) is €8 for adults and €7 for students and there are very small lockers at the entranceHis best tip was to head straight for the main waterfall before doing anything else*– and he was absolutely right! We arrived early and had the most incredible experience; by the time we left at around 11.45am, it was absolutely packed. We also really enjoyed chatting to Yevgen and hearing a little of his own story. He is Ukrainian and moved to Spain with his young family and parents following the outbreak of war, determined to build a safe and secure future for them. He has since created this tour business and the care, pride and sheer hard work he puts into it really shows. He is just a genuinely lovely human being. A few tips if you’re going: • Book the morning slot, particularly during high season. Earlier is definitely better. • Wear sturdy shoes that can get wet. We bought water shoes near the entrance for €12 and they did the job, but they were VERY slippery! • Be prepared – the water is FREEZING 😂 …but absolutely glorious when it’s hot. • Listen to Yevgen and go straight to that main waterfall before the crowds arrive! If you're staying in Alicante, Benidorm or the surrounding area**, I couldn't recommend this trip – or Yevgen – highly enough. Yes, the waterfalls themselves are beautiful, but travelling with someone who genuinely cares about the experience you have makes it even better. **Give this chap your booking. He absolutely deserves it.** ❤️ Definitely one for the memory bank. 💦☀️🇪🇸
Yevgen is a very nice man, helpful and really explains everything and is open to all questions. Clear recommendation
Waterfalls are lovely and worth a visit. Swimming shoes are a must. It's a long way down and up! Driver was great and very knowledgeable, nothing was too much trouble
Excellent organisation throughout! Our guide, Yevgen, was punctual and informative and everything was straightforward and easy. When we come back we will do another tour with Yevgen, thank you!

We had a great trip to the Algar waterfall with the best tour guide Mr. Yevgen. He was prompt, very knowledgeable and knowledgeable. We will definitely do more trips with him in future.
Our Guide was Will, great guy, with lots of hints & tips. Extremely prepared, ie 3 people felt sick,he had bags ready. Thankfully only one person was sick. Firstly you need water shoes. There are lockers there BEFORE you enter,€6 and you get €3 back. I personally started at the top and worksed my way down. The water is ICE cold, but refreshing. Not suitable for prams/wheelchair/ unfit or people who struggle on uneven grounds. Wish there were a few more pick up points for the coach.
Yevgen from Costa Blanca Tours was a great guide, this was our second trip with him this week and we highly recommend him. The waterfall area was beautiful and fun. Is is a good idea to bring water shoes. The water is cold but we enjoyed swimming and jumping from the cliff.
Pick up was easy and seamless, driver was chatty and knowledgeable about the area, friendly and easy to chat and ask questions with. The Alger waterfalls were lovely- I thought there would have been more to see- but the visit was beautiful- restaurants was good aswell- a good mornings visit 😄
"The gentleman was very friendly and helpful."
