Disfrute de un paseo por hermosos ranchos para llegar a la cascada El Chorro de Girón, donde haremos una caminata a través del bosque nuboso. Más tarde visitaremos el lago Busa donde haremos una caminata alrededor de él.

Itinerario
Este es un día lleno de contrastes. Comenzamos nuestro día conduciendo por el siempre verde y rico rancho del Valle de Tarqui. La primera parada será en uno de los lugares históricos más importantes de las batallas por la independencia. Desde aquí podrá apreciar el hermoso paisaje de los Andes. A continuación, llegaremos a las cascadas de El Chorro de Girón, una increíble zona de bosque nuboso cubierto de bromelias, orquídeas y suave musgo verde. Aquí, caminará a través de la exuberante vegetación para llegar a las cascadas, una cascada de 250 pies de altura.
Luego nos dirigiremos al lago Busa, donde haremos una pequeña caminata alrededor del borde donde podrá disfrutar de las hermosas vistas. Pararemos para almorzar en un restaurante local y regresaremos a Cuenca.

Had a great time with Luis! He was very informative and took the time to talk about anything! The falls were amazing and the hike were all steps so not bad at all. Busa lake was a bit of a let down after the falls but it was a nice recreation area and would have been great with warmer weather. Overall, the tour was very good, and our guide made it better!!

Giron Waterfall and Busa Lake were gorgeous. Diego was my guide and he was insightful and knowledgeable, not only about the culture, but about the indigenous flora as well. Beautiful countryside, and great tour guide!

The first location, Giron falls was great. The second location, Busa Lake was not worth the drive. Apparently it's only really used on weekends. When we arrived on the Monday there was construction happening all through the parking lot (it was hard to get through to actually park) and honestly there was not really much of anything to see aside from a very small lake. We were there for a total of about 10 minutes. The driver was not the best -- he spent a considerable amount of time texting on his mobile phone while driving through mountain roads. He was also VERY interested in my female companion but barely said a word to me (a male). Not to the point of being creepy but not far off. In previous tours I have had drivers that were full of knowledge and seeming to enjoy telling you this information. This driver honestly seemed like he had other things to do. At one point he at least actually pulled over to take a phone call for a few minutes. I wouldn't do this trip again.

We had a great day with Adrian. He took great care of us, passed along a lot of great information, and got us safely from place to place. The tour itself was awesome. Both the waterfall and the lake were amazing, but just spending a day seeing the Ecuadorian countryside was the real highlight. It’s one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen.
