A beautiful little adventure! Antonio was the best captain you could wish for and very funny. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute
Well, I booked the experience in Spanish and the guide did not know Spanish; it was a tense trip because the skipper-guide, whose name was Luca (or so he said), spent his time swimming, did not give us towels, did not explain anything, did not give us snacks, and spent his time talking to some Australian women who were with us. I asked him if he was angry about something and that I did not like that he ignored the Spanish people who were going. I would not repeat the trip with that skipper-guide; I hope they give him a reprimand. On the other hand, the hostesses are wonderful.
We left at 4:20 PM instead of 4:00 PM, due to an alleged delay of other participants, and returned at 5:40 PM instead of 6:20 PM, even though the tour is sold as a two-hour trip. The boat "captain" speaks terrible (and I am using a euphemism) English. He provided explanations of the various attractions visited that were, to say the least, approximate and very, very rushed (a few seconds), showing embarrassing cultural gaps and a lack of knowledge of them (among other things, he called Emperor Tiberius "king," arousing the hilarity of the bystanders). But wouldn't it be easier for you to just play a recording (and you would look better, also because we saw the faces of all the other passengers looking extremely embarrassed and perplexed)? Furthermore, it would have been pleasant to listen to a little bit of music, while it was constantly interrupted whenever the “captain” (he boasts of the title!) was occupied on his cell phone (with which we imagine he was operating the device), despite the fact that he was piloting the watercraft in a very busy stretch of water, whether to answer the numerous messages he was receiving in the meantime, or to engage in lengthy phone calls (without using a headset - and therefore using one hand to hold the phone).
It's worth it... the views of Capri from the boat are stunning and the swimming is so refreshing!
This tour stated that snorkeling equipment and towels were provided, along with refreshments. None of these were available. The boat ride was nice, Capri stands on its own, but we weren’t taken to any of the grottos promised except the white grotto which was very underwhelming.
No frills experience. Good if you want a quick look at the rock formations and a quick dip. If you get motion sickness easily, I’d reconsider.
Mario was fantastic, personable, knowledgeable and a very good singer! Kids enjoyed the whole time and the swim spot was amazing!
Fun and low stress experience. Guide was knowledgeable about caves. Chance to relax and swim. Clean boat. Nice people. Would do it again .
We booked this tour because our family wanted to experience the best of Capri from the water, and it exceeded our expectations! Our goal was to see the famous caves, swim in the beautiful crystal-clear water, and enjoy some authentic limoncello—and we got to do all of that. The entire experience was relaxing, fun, and well organized. The scenery around Capri was absolutely breathtaking, and having time to stop for a swim made the day even more memorable. The limoncello tasting was a nice touch and a great way to experience a local tradition. We had a fantastic day with our family and created memories we’ll always cherish. If you’re visiting Capri and want a great way to see the island from the sea, we highly recommend this tour!
The tour group was excellent. Well organized and accessing everything was very easy. Luca was a phenomenal guide and he sure can navigate a boat! Our group had great energy and the water felt amazing! I’d highly recommend this if you’re looking for a proper trip around the waters of Capri!
