Clase de cocina para grupos pequeños de Cancún con chef local

Great experience. Alberto and Lily are super invested and you can feel a real attention and a real passion. We cook simple things and we learn a lot about Mexican ingredients, culture, and habits. In the end, everything is delicious and we had a great time with very friendly and authentic people.

The class was fun, we learned to make tacos de birria and poblano peppers, guacamole and green and red sauce. The class was about 3h, we can recommend it! At the end, chef Alberto sent us his recipes via email so we can try to cook some Mexican food at home :)

Excellent class! I absolutely adored spending my birthday with Alberto and his mother Lilly. They made us feel right at home. And not to mention the food was DELICIOUS 🥰

My sister and I had a great time cooking authentic Mexican food with Chef Alberto! We were actually booked to cook with his aunt, Chef Alma, at her Playa del Carmen home. But she had hurt her ankle so Alberto took her place. Alberto's Mom, Lily, helped with prep. Alberto was waiting for us at the meeting point just down the road from Alma's house when our taxi arrived - and communicated with our taxi driver so he knew when to pick us back up. We found out that the other people who had signed up for the class had cancelled, so it was just my sister and I that day. Chef Alberto and his Mom were extremely kind and welcoming. They told us about their family's cooking traditions and personal background and answered all the questions we had about ingredients and cooking techniques. They treated us like guests in their home. We made fresh green and red salsas, pico de gallo, guacamole, and barbacoa tacos with handmade tortillas. They also made us Cantaritos - a special tequila drink I had never tried before. (The drinks were made AFTER we were done using the sharp knives and stove!) After cooking we all enjoyed eating the food together - and Alberto made sure that our taxi driver had arrived before we left his house. He also emailed us all of his recipes (not just the ones we had made with him that day). We had a great time and look forward to trying some of these recipes again on our own!

This was the best with Alberto and Lili. We went to their class last year in Cancun and we went this time in Playa del Carmen. They are the best! Every time that I am In this area of Mexico, I WILL BE BACK TO THEIR CLASS. They are the best.
