Hospital Cave es un hospital en miniatura en el corazón de la montaña, construido entre 1963 y 1965 durante la guerra, que incluye 3 pisos y 17 salas separadas con diversas funciones. cueva natural con muchas estalactitas en la cueva fresca donde se puede escuchar el sonido de pequeñas gotas de agua que fluyen desde las estalactitas en el techo, a lo largo de 300 m de largo desde el lado de la montaña hasta el otro lado. Sube cientos de escalones de piedra y el sendero forestal hasta la cima del pico Ngu Lam, donde podrás ver la majestuosa belleza del bosque primitivo de las islas (subida y bajada hasta el pico Ngu Lam en 2 horas). Caminata hacia abajo para ver la galería de especímenes de flora y fauna en el Parque Nacional Cat Ba. En el bosque escucharás la sinfonía de las montañas: el canto de los pájaros, el sonido de los insectos y el llamado de animales como visones, ardillas y monos.

You can easily do this walk by yourself as there’s only 1 path to follow and everyone goes the same way no matter if you’re with a guide or doing it solo.
Just a fun half day with a great fun guide. A good workout. Breathtaking views once you get the top.
Tough walk to the viewpoint for 60+, especially the last bit. Hospital cave and cave with stalactites and stalagmites were worth the visit.
Viet took us on a half day hike to Ngu Lam peak, Trung Tran Cave and hospital cave. He was so interesting and informative about the national park and history of Vietnam too. We really appreciated his insight. Taking the tour meant we could fit in the activities in our short time at Cat Ba Island.
Absolutely not happy. Booked the tour and the driver never showed up. They pretty much just up and took our money. No tour. no nothing. Extremely disappointed.
From pick up to finish it was a mazing experience, not too full on, but still a challenge. You got to experience fantastic parts of Cat Ba. Our guide and driver was lovely, kind and very informative of the nature, history, culture and religion ♡. Overall amazing experience! Thank you!

The walk was great! Our guide Phuc led our group with great enthusiasm and care. Ngu Lam Peak has very beautiful views. Cave Hospital is a very rich testimony of a Vietnamese of other times. It was worth it!
