Itinerario
El tour comienza desde el centro del puerto de Katakolo. Alquila el divertido coche al aire libre BeachBuggy® que está equipado con estéreo FM y también con un sistema de sonido Bluetooth que puede escuchar su música favorita desde su teléfono o Youtube durante su conducción Costa de la península de Katakolon! Tienes la oportunidad de seguir el coche BeachBuggy® de nuestro guía cuando continuamos conduciendo Coastline durante 10 minutos hasta nuestra primera parada. ¡Pasamos un camino natural y agradable con muchas fotos grabables en tu mente!
La primera parada es el punto culminante del pueblo de Agios Andreas, ciudad de la antigua Elis en el Pisatis, situada en el istmo que conecta el promontorio Ichthys (ahora el Cabo de Katakolo) con el continente. Paramos durante 30 minutos, para tomar un café (cargo adicional), respirar/caminar/sesión de fotos o nadar.
La segunda parada es el pueblo de Leventochori, un impresionante destino de playa donde las exuberantes colinas verdes de la tierra de Elián se encuentran con el mar, creando una serie de pintorescos arroyos adornados con arena oscura! Paramos durante 30 minutos, para tomar un café (cargo adicional), respirar / caminar / sesión de fotos o nadar
La siguiente parada es el monasterio de Panagia Skafidiotissa o Skafidia, del que tomó su nombre, construido alrededor del siglo X. Junto a las claras aguas azules del Lonio, en la desembocadura del río Lardanes. El visitante quedará deslumbrado al ver la fortaleza medieval que la rodea desde lejos. Además de su notable arquitectura, también cuenta con muchos tesoros religiosos e históricos como: Vasijas sagradas, vestiduras, relicarios, uniformes, armas, iconos, monedas, votivos y el estandarte del Monasterio hecho de un icono bordado a mano dedicado a Theotokos. Paramos 30 minutos.
La siguiente parada es el pequeño pueblo Skafidia, el sitio de la antigua ciudad de Dyspontium, una de las ocho ciudades de Pisatis en la antigua Elis. Estaba situado en la llanura entre Elis y Olimpia, al norte del río Alfeo y no lejos del mar. Paramos durante 30 minutos, para tomar un café (cargo adicional), respirar/caminar/sesión de fotos o nadar.
La siguiente parada es la playa de Kourouta, la playa de bandera azul más cosmopolita de Ilia que se extiende por más de 16 km, bañada por las aguas cristalinas del mar Jónico, situada a solo 21 km del puerto de Katakolon. Junto a la arena dorada y el agua azul intenso de la playa de Kourouta, a lo largo del paseo marítimo hay innumerables bares cafetería, restaurantes, tabernas griegas que sirven ouzo, pescado fresco y platos tradicionales. Paramos durante 60 minutos para nadar y relajarse en las tumbonas donde se puede servir bebidas, café o comida disfrutando de la vista al mar!

Amazing activity- we loved it.. loved the car- very easy to drive and looked great. The cars are very modern and we got to play our own tunes while cruising all over the town. No issues getting in or out of the car. George was fantastic- took us to all the good spots, gave us water and snacks and even took great photos and videos for keepsakes. George was really friendly, helpful and nothing too much to ask. We hope George and his business do well
Fantastic trip with George and his beach buggies, nothing was too much trouble very help and knowledgeable. The buggies were in amazing condition, well maintained. We really enjoyed the trip from start to finish, if you are in this area book this trip you won't be disappointed!!
George is absolutely AMAZING! The buggy location is only about a 5-minute walk from the cruise port, which made everything incredibly convenient. George has three buggies available for each tour, and the entire experience was perfect from beginning to end. We visited three spectacular beaches, each beautiful in its own way. At the third beach, my husband and I had what was genuinely some of the best pasta we have ever had in our lives! The scenery, the food, and the entire experience were unforgettable. What really stood out to us, though, was George himself. We originally had a 12:30 PM reservation, but George was thoughtful enough to reach out and recommend that we move our tour to 9:30 AM so we wouldn’t have to worry about getting back to our cruise ship on time. Because of his recommendation, we were able to fully enjoy the tour, return with plenty of time to spare, and still have time to shop around before getting back on the ship. As a Black couple traveling in a foreign country, feeling safe and comfortable is extremely important to us, and George made us feel completely SAFE, welcomed, and taken care of the entire time. He is incredibly genuine, kind, and truly God-sent. Please do not skip this experience. BOOK IT IMMEDIATELY! You will not regret it. Thank you, George, for giving us such an amazing memory from our trip! ❤️

We had a great time!! Lots of fun. George led us all around to see the local villages and beaches. Our kids went into the water at all three beaches. Just the right mix of site seeing and relaxing. The buggies were new and fun to drive. George was flexible and allowed us to stay at one beach a little longer. Highly recommended!!
Absolutely, the best time! Discover Beaches, The Quaint Countryside , Rural & Farming Villages all while having fresh air and the time of your life! Office with the buggies was easy to find and only a short walk from the cruise port. Kouroutas Beach was a lovely spot. Clear water with a sandy bottom. Got loungers and ordered food. Great day!
We had an amazing, unforgettable time riding the classy, shiny buggies!! So well-taken care of, and the drive was very easy and Fun! It was a very hot summer day, but the open-air drive to the beaches were the best way to spend with younger kids/family, visiting beautiful beaches - and the final dip was so refreshing and relaxing! We loved it so much, even our grumpy teenagers and our 10 year old enjoyed it and couldn’t stop talking about the unique memories we made. Starvos has also been so accommodating even after I made a mess with canceling and rebooking and going through much trouble with the charges. We’re so glad we got to do this experience together as a family in Katakolo!! You and your family will really love it too!
It will be so great and fun. Wear swim suits alot of beaches. Don’t worry if it’s a rainy day George will still make it a special experience.
Great experience in Katakalon. We had a rainy morning but didn't prevent us to have fun. George was great guide and very attentive and we had fun along the way. Beaches were nice and water Great. Buggies are great quality and they are quite new well take care of. If you are group friends or family this would be a great day out for you.
One beach buggy tour was AMAZING! First of all, the beach buggy vehicles themselves turn heads as we drove through the streets of Katakolon, playing our fave 80's tunes on the Bluetooth radio. Our guide George took us to various beaches and spots that were heaven on Earth, where we were able to take pictures that we treasure now that were back home. George stopped at a wonderful restaurant where we sipped on Ouzo and local Greek beer along with a stop at a beach club for a few hours where we took a dip in the Agean Sea and soaked up some sun. Driving along the back roads with all of the breathtakingly gorgeous views is something we will never forget! We highly recommend booking the Beach Buggy experience! Trust us, you will not be disappointed and will go home with memories of a lifetime. Thanks again, George!!
