Bosque Nuboso de Mindo (Excursión PRIVADA de un día desde Quito)
Descripción
Mindo es una ciudad ubicada al noroeste de Quito, a 2 horas en automóvil. El bosque nuboso tiene una increíble diversidad de fauna aviar, en particular colibríes y mariposas. Esta área de bosque primario con una inmensa biodiversidad también tiene algunas de las tasas más altas de endemismo vegetal en el mundo: las orquídeas, bromelias, heliconias, helechos, vides, musgos y líquenes crecen en abundancia aquí.

Itinerario
Por la mañana nuestro conductor guía nos recogerá en nuestro hotel para tomar el Noroeste de Quito con dirección a Mindo, uno de los bosques nubosos más visitados de Ecuador. Llegar a Mindo nos tomará alrededor de 2 horas, una vez que lleguemos al pueblo visitaremos un gran lugar para poder admirar muchas especies de colibríes. La siguiente parada es en el jardín de mariposas donde veremos las 4 etapas de la vida de las mariposas, rodeadas de 1200 coloridas mariposas al mismo tiempo. Nuestro siguiente punto es la fábrica de chocolate artesanal; aquí tendrás la oportunidad de conocer el proceso para producir un delicioso y puro chocolate a partir del grano de cacao. Si tenemos tiempo, existe la posibilidad de divertirnos haciendo Canopy (Zip-Line / opcional). Finalmente, regresamos a Quito.
Para aquellos con tiempo limitado que no pudieron visitar la Mitad del Mundo, podemos detenernos en este lugar en el camino de regreso de Mindo sin costo adicional (tarifa de entrada NO incluida), solo escriba esta solicitud y lo haremos posible.

We spend the morning surrounded by lush greenery and wildlife, then transition back to the city with a stop at the equator. It’s a lot of ground to cover, but the private transport makes the logistics seamless and much easier than trying to coordinate local buses.
It was an incredibly special day with Mijael. He was SO passionate and knowledgeable about every aspect of the trip, from the plants and nature to geography and mythology. We loved chatting with him, exploring the stunning town of Mindo, and enjoying a waterfall hike. The tour felt relaxed , peaceful, fun and educational. Thanks for organizing a memorable day!

My family & I had an excellent English speaking guide in Quito. We spent 3 days with Kevin. We visited Quito, the center of the earth, the Mindo cloud forest, went zip lining and the Otavalo market. Kevin spent over 10 hours with us each day, he hiked with us and took us to a great chocolate farm and good restaurant. He was accommodating, pleasant and knowledgeable. I enjoyed photographing the numerous hummingbirds. Very colorful. Also learning how chocolate was made was interesting. Seeing the butterfly farm was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. And the orchid farm was amazing.
