Very good program to discover the diversity of Cambodia, the Elephant Forest, Tonle Sap Lake, the hotel pick-up to the activities was perfect.
Great time with elephants and on Lake Tonle Sap
I also want to add that my guide, Seila, was an amazing human, with so much knowledge and kindness that it made the whole day lovely. He offered the opportunity to answer any questions I had about the area and culture, which truly made this one of the best experiences of my time in Cambodia. I would highly recommend Seila, if you want someone who is passionate, caring, and committed to sharing about the history and culture of Cambodia, Tonlesap Lake, anything else you would like to learn! He was THE BEST!
It was by far one of the best experiences I've had. Sej was a funny, knowledgeable, and engaging guide. The people who worked at the conservation were delightful and they care so deeply for the elephants. They partner with the local community, so it felt good to be there on so many levels. The elephants were beautiful and this truly was a highlight of my trip and life!
While you could book these two things separately and probably pay less, this is a very comfortable and informative way to do two very great experiences. My driver was amazingly knowledgeable and shared a lot of history and information during the drive. Being in a private car allows for more intimate interactions and questions along with a safe space to leave your belongings if you wanted to bring a backpack etc. The elephant experience was everything I had hoped and I loved the up close interaction during the forest walk. I would have chosen to skip the crocodile place in the floating village and the stop at the end for shopping but I understand that they are just trying to further commerce for the area. Overall I would recommend!
A perfect combination of wildlife and seeing a bit of rural Cambodia. Borey was very knowledgable le and the driver was pleasant also. A perfect start to my Cambodia trip!
