Descripción
Esta ruta recorre la zona mas bella y espectacular de Bizkaia. Zona muy especial y llena de historia para los bizkainos. Se disfruta de parques naturales como el de Urkiola y Gorbea en todo su esplendor y pasearemos por villas medievales como Elorrio, Otxandio y Areatza. Conservan su estructura original con antigyas casas y hermosos palacios. Visita a la necrópolis de Argiñeta, la mas importante de Europa, con tumbas y estelas funerarias del siglo X. Terminar el dia con un paseo por el hayedo de Otzarreta, uno de los más fotografiados de Europa, es algo inolvidable. En definitiva, un auténtico recorrido por la naturaleza lleno de grandes sensaciones. ¡Ven y disfruta!

Santuario de los Santos Antonios y mirador de la cresta del Amboto.
Tranquila villa en el valle de Arratia a los pies del monte Gorbea. Paseo por sus calles y vista desde un fabuloso mirador.
Paseo por uno de los mas bellos hayedos de España.
Villa solariega famosa por la gran cantidad de palacios perfectamente conservados.
Visita a la necrópolis con más cantidad de tumbas y estelas funerarias de Europa, datadas en los siglos IX - X
Paseo por la Via verde para contemplar la espectacular cresta del Amboto asi como el valle de Atxondo con gran cantidad de caserios vascos.

The tour was wonderful, an excellent mix of nature, culture and history. The area is beautiful and we are so grateful to have seen some very special places. We also had an excellent lunch! Jose is a great guide, we took two tours with him and both were excellent. Jose made our trip to the Bizkaia region unforgettable, we absolutely recommend him!
I can't stop thinking about our lovely day exploring the surrounding areas of Bilbao with Jose. My favorite was the Otzarreta forest with the gorgeous beech trees that showed all the fall colors, but really the whole day was a treasure. Jose takes you on a journey to not just see but to get a feel for the culture of the area by walking through historical and natural locations and villages. We saw everything from chickens and farms, to the Three Crosses with a gorgeous mountain view, to a national park to see the stunning beech trees. He arranged lunch for us at a lovely restaurant where we had wonderful local freshly prepared Basque food served with pride. I wanted to hug the lady who served us, she loved that we enjoyed the food and wanted to make sure we were happy with everything. The day made me fall in love with Basque country because we got such a sense of the culture, food and people during our day - and Basque country is truly a place that is special. Jose was a huge part of this - his love and knowledge of the area shows in the care taken each step of the way. I can't recommend this tour enough! Thank you Jose for a truly amazing day!!

This was a wonderful tour of the Basque country: nature and historic villages. The scenery is breathtaking and the ancient birch forests are magical. I very much enjoyed my tour with Jose. He is a very knowledgable and interesting guide. This tour should not be missed.

The tour with Jose was incredible. By far the best tour I have ever been on and my personal highlight of the Basque Country, and one that seems to be missed by a lot of travellers. Everywhere he took me was breathtaking, and I’ll think about what I saw for the rest of my life. Jose is an amazing guide as well, informative, engaging and best of all, someone who is passionate about the place he calls home. I also greatly appreciated the small detour where he ordered cookies from the nuns in the covenant. Book this tour, you will not regret it!!!

Strongly recommend to take the opportunity to see inland landscapes quite different from the seaside. Great views, interesting small villages and very good commentary from the guide - and the beech forest - magical... And the tour organised very professionally.

Everything we saw on this tour surprised us pleasantly, coupled with the great explanations of our wonderful guide José Luis. You rating the affection he has for his land and in the end he transmits a lot to you.
