El tiempo de snorkel es de 20-30 minutos. It didn't live up to the hype. Only two Manta Rays. Over priced for the experience.
Overall a very cool experience. Seeing the manta rays was amazing!! Kids loved it. The communication from the company was a little off putting. A bit pushy. You have to pay for wet suits and any extra gear which wasn’t evident when booking. Also got very nauseous and vomited. I’d still do again but probably with a different company, and take anti nausea meds before.
We were so pleased with this tour!! My son wasn’t really excited at first because it was at night in the open water, but there was nothing to be afraid of! Devon was super cool and gave us the intro on what to expect and gave us our gear. Gregg was the guide who went into the water with us, we saw SO many manta rays…we were really vibing with them! We stayed in the water for about a half and hour and then back on the boat. All told the whole trip was a little over an hour and well worth the price!
Great experience snorkeling with the Manta Rays. Incredible to the Manta Rays swim so close to us.
Very nice staff, thus the two stars. But there is a devil in the details you need to know about. Do yourself a favor and skip booking any of these manta ray snorkel trips with any provider if it starts before about 8:30/9pm. I might even recommend not using a company that offers early times. Here is why: We went at 6:30pm for the sunset tour. Everyone asked us if we were excited to see the manta rays. They pumped it up big time. We went out full of hope, only to be severely disappointed. No manta rays appeared. However, and I stress, that isn’t the bad part and is not the reason for my low review. Of course no one can control nature. They remind you of this about a hundred times.. The disappointing part was the conversation we overheard after between staff of multiple dive companies. The comment was “I don’t know why our companies offer these early times when they know we never see mantas till much later at night.” At which all the staff agreed. I won’t say which company said it but it is clear they are just running these early dives to collect as much cash as possible. Yes, they do offer to rebook you. And the staff clearly hinted that we should rebook for a much later time if we wanted to have a shot at seeing anything. The trick of course is that few people can rebook due to schedules already being full. So, yes, they can’t control nature but they know full well that those early times are going to be a bust but they keep running them anyway to fill the coffers. And yes, I already know the response I will get from the company. No need to try to convince me how I should have rebooked, etc. The worst part- I feel bad for the staff who tried their hardest to make something happen.
This was by far the coolest thing we have ever done. Absolutely amazing! The crew was fun and we had a great time.
We saw one manta. Two more showed up as we were getting out of the water but the guide wouldn’t allow us to look for an extra minute to see them. He kept telling people they had to get out of the water and back in boat. After paying so much and waiting to see manta rays. Guide was so happy when one showed up right at end to not have to bring us back out. 30 minute trip. Whole family disappointed. NOTHING like we have seen advertised. Not worth our money.
The 6:30 trip is not recommended. Other ships saw manta, but our ship didn't see it. We could only hear that others saw it. Manta didn't come near our ship.
Really good! Good for families and kids with the instructors really knowledgeable and friendly. Safe and fun
It was the last manta ray viewing late at night. I felt the care was given to make sure everyone understood the precautions and appreciated them safely. Manta rays were swimming gracefully under our bellies many times. We could see fish and juveniles other than manta rays. It was so elegant and I could enjoy Hawaii time at night. Finally, there was the trouble of the boat getting stuck, but we were also grateful for your help in relaxing us without worrying us.
