Instead of a smaller bus this was an exceptionally large bus and despite of how far in advance I made the reservation the stop was over a mile from our hotel and we were the last pick up point which made us the back of the bus. We lost at least 7 minutes at each stop just to exit the bus. The driver who told us we could charge our phones on the bus did not know where the button was to activate the outlets so we were only able to use it after Butchart Gardens. Also despite the listing by Viator no water was provided. The places we saw were wonderful.
Fantastic day. Justin was an amazing guide. The gardens were incredible and what a beautiful place is Victoria. Thoroughly recommend!

Informative tour led by a very competent guide/bus driver. Butchart Gardens and Victoria are total gems to experience. Ferry rides are enjoyable also.

The Gardens were great and the 2 hours we were given was the perfect amount of time. Our driver/guide Justin was amazing, unfortunately we were only given 1 hour and 45 minutes to see all of Victoria which was not even close to what the description says. To be fair, that was really all that time allowed in order to make it back to the ferry but just be prepared to only have time to see one or two places in Victoria. We were still able to walk by China town, the Parliament building, and the Empress hotel but only briefly for each and didn’t have any time to go into the Royal BC Museum.

Long day, 12 hour tour with only 2 hours at Bruchart Gardens and less than two hours in Victoria. The remaining time (approximately 8 hours) is spent traveling to and from the attractions.

The description says bottle water was included. There was no water. Also received an email saying to meet at 8:30 am. The bus driver did not arrive until about 9:15am

It’s a long day on the bus but there are plenty of opportunities to be outside the coach for food and to stretch your legs. The Butchart Gardens and the city of Victory are beautiful.

This is the perfect day trip. But it is all day. Plan accordingly. Justin, Our driver was also our tour guide and he was great. He had a great sense of humor and lots of local knowledge. Very personable. Very thorough in his directions and expectations. He made everything easy.

Victoria & Butchart Gardens are the draw, but it was our guide Dan who brings the experience to another level. We loved having him! His knowledge of the area is impressive, he ran a flawlessly organized operation, and is a terrific driver to boot. It was great hearing him speak about the local history and his experience as a Vancouver native. This tour is well-balanced; there is a great split of personal time at each stop and tour time on the road. I highly recommend!
