Itinerario
Para comenzar la mañana, conduciremos a través de paisajes costeros exuberantes y montañosos desde Port Douglas, aprendiendo sobre la historia y la cultura de la región, mientras viajamos hacia la antigua selva tropical de Daintree.
Disfrutamos de un excelente almuerzo gourmet en un restaurante escondido en la selva tropical, con opciones de carne, pescado, canguro, pollo o vegetariano, y otras necesidades dietéticas atendidas. Cocinado fresco para ti por un chef del mejor restaurante de la zona. Disfrute de una experiencia adicional de degustación de frutas tropicales con su comida principal, aprendiendo sobre la historia y los usos culinarios de estas coloridas y exóticas delicias.
Para nuestra espectacular e idílica tarde, caminaremos a través de antiguos claros de la selva tropical y el valle junto al arroyo hasta una hermosa y aislada cascada en el Área del Patrimonio Mundial de los Trópicos Húmedos de Daintree, donde podremos nadar en esta prístina piscina de roca virgen. La caminata es de 1 hora un poco desafiante en cada sentido y requiere una condición física razonable y un buen equilibrio. Avanzamos a un ritmo fácil, compartiendo muchos detalles fascinantes sobre el ecosistema de selva tropical salvaje a lo largo del sendero... Luego nos relajamos y disfrutamos de un refrescante baño en este mágico Rockpool natural donde podemos nadar justo debajo de las cataratas.

Podemos recogerlo en su alojamiento en cualquier lugar de Port Douglas o Mossman (Silky Oaks), o encontrarnos en el río Daintree. Excellent tour guide Alistair the most informative and chilled guide . . . Lunch was extremely tasty with an informative talk on all the native fruits included. . . Hike lets you experience the nature of the Daintree at its absolute natural best . . . Waterfall is pure heaven with the most cleanest and purest water I’ve ever experienced. . . Amazing experience with an awesome, friendly guide. The hike and swim were beautiful and calm, as this is the only tour with access to this waterfall. Lunch at the teahouse was delicious, especially the tropical fruit tasting. Highly recommend!

Overall an enjoyable outing. The highlight of our day was swimming in the very fresh water at the waterfall. Our guide, Alister was friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. The lunch was satisfactory.

Had a wonderful rain forest experience, including a lunch with local produce and kangaroo/baromondi. Enjoyed a private tour guide, Allister, who shared stories of the local area, and provided a personal experience…joining us for a hike through the forest, and a destination to a private waterfall and swimming hole. Very personal and private, an exclusive location definitely worth the trip. The waterfall was amazing, and the location is very private. My wife and I, and the tour guide. Shared this experience all to ourselves. Highly recommend!!

We had a really nice and relaxed day on this Daintree Jungle tour. Trying unique local fruits was a great experience — first at the teahouse and later freshly picked straight from the trees, which made it feel very authentic. The walk to the waterfall was impressive, and our guide was very friendly and informative without being overwhelming. Overall, a well-organized and enjoyable tour that we would recommend.

Our tour guide Alister was very friendly and informative regarding the Rainforest. We started the tour with an early lunch including a tropical fruit selection. Very prepared, lending us ponchos for the rain! He had a lot of knowledge of the plants and trees. We ended up in the waterfall where we could swim.
