Es el terser Lago más grande de Guatemala en el cual se encuentra la Isla de Flores 10 minutos antes de abordar el bus tendrás tiempo para hacer fotos del recuerdo hay un rótulo especial que dice YO AMO PETEN aquí inicia nuestro recorrido donde pasaremos por pequeños poblados hasta llegar a la entrada Principal del Parque Nacional Tikal donde descenderemos de bus para comprar nuestros boletos de admisión al Parque este recorrido es de aproximadamente una hora
En la entrada Principal del Parque Nacional Tikal podrás comprar tus entradas de admisión al Parque (Tickets) también los puedes comprar en Línea en la página del Gobierno de Guatemala https://boletos.culturaguate.com/ Tambien puedes hacer uso de servicios (baños) Nota: la entrada al Parque tiene un costo de Q. 150.00 por persona y el pago solo se puede hacer en efectivo y en Quetzales moneda de Guatemala Luego abordaremos nuevamente el bus y continuamos 20 minutos más para llegar al Visitor Center
En el Centro de Visitantes del Parque Nacional Tikal encontrarás un Mapa a escala de Tikal (Maqueta) Servicios de baños , Restaurant, Tiendas de Artesanías , cafe y el Museo Litico (se paga por entrar no está incluido en el precio se compran las entradas antes de entrar al parque, nuestro guía dará un tiempo libre de 15 minutos luego pasaremos al control de Ticket y empieza nuestra caminata poe senderos en la Jungla haciendo algunas paradas donde nuestro guia local explicara sobre Flora Fauna y Arqueología hasta llegar a la Plaza Central

Al finalizar el Tour nuestro guia dará un tiempo libre en es lugar para las personas que quieran comprar alimentos ( Comidas no están Incluidas en el precio del Tour) Luego abordaremos nuevamente el bus para retornar a la Isla de Flores

This tour was great! Amazing experience for the money! We brought our two girls (6,and 5) and while it was very hot and long for them, they held their own and climbed every temple! Our guide Victor was awesome! Very knowledgeable and informative! He made sure we kept on track and owed us plenty of time to explore!
I’m so glad we did this amazing tour! Edwin was an incredible guide and cared so much about the history and culture of the area. We were picked up at the I heart Peten sign at 8am (I recommend going to the breakfast place right next to it beforehand for the most incredible breakfast quesadillas and coffee). Edwin was incredibly friendly and kind and spoke to us in both Spanish and English. The van ride was about an hour through beautiful rural towns. We stopped for coffee and tickets (150Q) before entering the park. The park is huge, 50 square kilometers with over 60,000 structures, but Edwin knew the best spots to go and efficiently scheduled the tour to show us the most incredible views paired with explaining all the history and importance of the area (explained in both Spanish and English). We also saw beautiful wildlife like moneys and baby Quiotes. The jungle and ruins were beautiful and we hiked until about 3pm at which point we went to a delicious and quaint restaurant at the entrance of the park. We were then transported back to Flores where we said our goodbyes. I cannot recommend Edwin or this tour enough!!
everything was great except for 2 things. 1. The forces stop in a restaurant- you are not obliged to ear, but we could be earlier back at flores and pick where WE want to eat and 2 They mix Spanish and English speakers in the same group so everything takes way longer... a waste od people's time
Our guide was amazing, very well paced so you have plenty of time to see everything, I would bring plenty of bugs spray.
The cost-benefit relationship was perfect. Super with the timing.
Amazing experience visiting Tikal and definitely one of the highlights of my trip. The tour was very well organized, everything ran smoothly, and the guide was extremely knowledgeable about the history and site. Highly recommend!

Very good tour for the price. We had Edwin as a tour guide and he was very knowledgeable about tikal.
We did the 4:30 am trip to Tikal from Flores. It was well organised, and Jose was a very informative guide. We entered the park after buying our tickets at 6:30 am. There was a restaurant and bathroom stop at the park gate. There are other bathrooms located by the ruins within the park complex. No need to feel desperate, if that is a concern. It was a good temperature for enjoying the sights and wildlife within the park.
Beautiful Mayan city but that was it. The guide gave hardly any information. From the moment you got to a temple, you got 3 minutes of explanation and then got 20 minutes of ‘free time’ to climb or view the temples. Would have preferred to visit this alone afterwards. I would know more about it myself as I was now counting on the information from the guide. However, it is a beautiful location with beautiful temples.
