El día del tour, te recibiremos con un cartel personalizado en la terminal del Aeropuerto Mundo Maya o directamente en el rotulo "Yo amo Petén" en la Isla de Flores. Viajarás en un transporte privado con aire acondicionado hacia el Parque Nacional Tikal, donde las entradas prioritarias ya están incluidas para evitar filas. Junto a un guía experto certificado, recorrerás la Gran Plaza, el Templo del Gran Jaguar y ascenderás al Templo IV para dominar la selva desde las alturas mientras descubres la historia maya. Para cerrar con broche de oro, disfrutarás de un almuerzo completo con platillos tradicionales de la región antes de abordar nuestro transporte de regreso hacia el aeropuerto o directamente hacia la Isla de Flores. ¡Reserva ya y viaja sin preocupaciones!

Itinerario
Es el tercer lago más grande de Guatemala, en el cual se encuentra la isla de Flores. 10 minutos antes de abordar el bus, tendrás tiempo para hacer fotos del recuerdo; hay un rótulo especial que dice 'YO AMO PETÉN'. Aquí inicia tu recorrido, donde pasarás por pequeños poblados hasta llegar a la entrada principal del Parque Nacional Tikal. Allí descenderás del bus para comprar tus boletos de admisión al parque, lo que te tomará aproximadamente una hora
La entrada Principal del Parque Nacional Tikal, en este punto los guardaparques realizaran el primer control de tikets (ya incluidos) de aquí inicia la reserva del Parque Nacional Tikal. En este punto podemos hacer uso de baños, luego seguimos nuestro recorrido de 16 kilometros mas hasta arribar al centro de visitantes.
Aquí tienes la frase convertida a "tú": "En el centro de visitantes del parque encontrarás un mapa a escala de Tikal (Maqueta), servicios de baños, restaurantes, tiendas de artesanías, café y el Museo Lítico (se paga por entrar, no está incluido en el precio y las entradas se compran antes de entrar al parque). Tu guía te dará un tiempo de 15 minutos. Luego, pasarás al control de tickets y empezarás tu caminata por senderos en la jungla, haciendo algunas paradas donde tu guía local te explicará sobre la flora, fauna y arqueología hasta llegar a la plaza central.
En este lugar encontrarás El Templo del Gran Jaguar, Templo II, Acrópolis Norte, Acrópolis Sur, el Juego de Pelota Maya y otros más; uno de los principales puntos a visitar.

La Pirámide Mundo Perdido cuenta con escalinatas para tu ascenso y tiene una vista increíble de 360 grados. Tu guía local te dará tiempo para escalarla y tomar fotos, ya que cuenta con una vista panorámica espectacular.
El Templo V de Tikal es uno de los de mejor restauración, lo que lo hace impresionante cuando lo descubres. Luego, caminarás de retorno al centro de visitantes para ir finalizando tu caminata.
Al final del tour, en este lugar degustarás un delicioso almuerzo. Luego, abordarás nuevamente el bus para retornar a la Isla de Flores o al Aeropuerto Mundo Maya

Lloyd was a fantastic and passionate tour guide who had a lot of knowledge about Mayan cities and civilizations, especially Tikal!
The activity was very good. Just one recommendation regarding the pickup at the airport since this is the last point, and the schedule states 7:30 AM, but the pickup actually happened after 8:00 AM, which made me worry and I had to contact the operator to confirm the times.
Great vehicle with A.C. Also great driving. Nice and knowledgeable local guide. Stunning place. Lunch was ok.
The ride went well. The shuttle ride and visit to the Tikal site, very good. On the other hand, out of 15 people, 4 wanted the information in English. We had them, but maybe 40% of the time. It was much more in Spanish. Otherwise, everything was fine.
Excellent trip to see the Mayan ruins. The guide was excellent, explaining all the different ruins history. We climbed several ruins and although we walked a lot, we had a few rest breaks. It was a good balance. Saw howler monkeys, spider monkeys and anteaters.
The visit itself is fun to see the pyramids and many wild animals too. However, the guide was not very communicative that at the beginning of the tour he only spoke in Spanish to ask everyone to preorder food and I had no clue what he was saying, when I asked him what's everyone doing, he just asked me to stay put. Later I asked him about it, he said he will fix it, but he didn't. He was nowhere to be found (we were once lost on our way back too). Otherwise the pickup and dropoff at the airport are smooth.
My partner and I took part in the tour to Tikal and had a lovely day! We left Flores at 8 in the morning because we didn't want it as stressful as the Sunrise tours, and were picked up near our hotel (this would not have been necessary in the end, Flores Island is so small that you can easily walk to the parking lot where the actual shuttle starts). It was all on time, the tickets had already been bought by the organizer, and after about 90 min drive we could start the tour in Tikal. Elvin was friendly, entertaining and obviously enjoyed the tour, it was a good and exciting experience! Due to the heat and humidity you are actually well exhausted after 3-4 hours of guidance, even if there would be much more to see. There was also time in between to look around what was important to us to really enjoy the surroundings. Lunch at the end was okay, nothing out of the ordinary, but perfectly fine. You could choose between chicken and beef, but on request I got a vegetarian option with rice, vegetables, egg and cheese. After the meal there was 45 minutes until the bus went back, that would not have been necessary, but maybe they planned a buffer. For the price the tour is absolutely recommended, we had a good time and learned a lot!
Our tour had a great time. Our guide Jose was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He took us to the best spots and gave us great photographs ideas. Our guide was very polite and gave us excellent pointers along the way and prior to the start of the tour. We all had a great time.
loved the tour, it was perfect for solo travelers. The timing was ideal, the weather was great, and the food was delicious.
It was such a nice experience. We were picked up at our hotel, brought to the main bus. Luis, the guide, was amazing. He was smart funny and witty! We learned so much and the group we were with was pretty fun as well. The lunch was super tasty.
