Regístrese en el centro comercial River City Complex Check in por la mañana 9.30 am.(tour de 2 horas) embarque 10.00 am. Check in por la tarde 14.00 hrs.(tour 2 horas)embarque 14.30 hrs.. Recorrido por los canales de Bangkok en barco de cola larga Disfrute de un viaje en barco de cola de 2 horas en Bangkok. Reúnase con su guía en el centro comercial River City y visite la antigua ciudad de Thonburi, una provincia independiente hasta que se fusionó con Bangkok en 1971. Allí todavía existen muchos de los pequeños canales y klongs tradicionales. Experimente la forma de vida local, rara vez vista desde el otro lado de la ciudad. Históricamente, la capital tailandesa, Bangkok, estaba atravesada por klongs (canales) y recibió el apodo de "Venecia del Este". Los klongs se utilizaban para el transporte y para los mercados flotantes, pero también para la eliminación de aguas residuales. Hoy en día, la mayoría de los khlongs de Bangkok se han rellenado, aunque el lado Thonburi de Bangkok (que abarca áreas al oeste del río Chao Phraya) aún conserva varios de sus khlongs más grandes.

Nice visit, small group of 8 people. however the waiting time at the locks can be a bit long with the heat.

We had a tour on the Chao Prayha River with Bo Bo as our guide. It was a very informative and interesting experience. Bangkok is a river city and the river was and is still, a major transport route. Not just staying on the main river, the tour took us off on a smaller canal which reached to the outskirts of Bangkok. Bo Bo had great English. The sound system was ok but at times I struggled to understand what was being said. Not Bo Bo’s fault though. He was knowledgeable and explained the sites and history very well. I would recommend this tour.

This is a great shorter trip booked via our tour operator TUI. Definitely an eye opener with the way people live in the canals. It was a small group tour which was great with taxi drop offs and pick ups running seamlessly. Definitely recommend.
