You walk about 2 minutes from the ship and then start the zipline part. 16 zip lines. The zip line crew are great. Very fun and supportive. My son was nervous and went with me and they got him to do one on his own and now he wants to go back. Definitely a great choice for Roatan. After the zipline you get pictures with parrots and monkeys and a sloth. So fun
This was a great experience! Very glad we chose to book with them instead of a Carnival experience. Pickup was so easy, and she even took us an hour before our scheduled time. The staff was so funny, helpful, and made you feel safe. The animal park was well maintained and very fun! They know their animals well, and tend to their individual needs. Our driver knew the island well, and gave us so much info as we drove to and from. She even asked us if we wanted to make any other stops. Dropped us off right back at port with plenty of time to spare. Will definitely book with them again!
Great activity!! The zip line guides were enthusiastic and helpful and family friendly. We had some first time zip liners and they had a blast. Not far from port. The animals were interesting too and rounded out the excursion nicely. Anderson and his crew were all very helpful. It’s a little tricky to find the pickup point but just ask any tour operator and they will help you.
The directions to the meeting location were accurate, but once we arrived on the sidewalk, it was very difficult to figure out which tour company we were supposed to meet. Several other vendors immediately approached us, trying to sell tours, and even followed our family down the sidewalk continuing their sales pitches. It made for a stressful start to the experience. Be prepared to walk about 10–15 minutes each way between the meeting point and the zip line facility. The route is along a very crowded street with heavy traffic. The sidewalks were uneven, dirty, and had several holes, which made the walk feel unsafe—especially for families with young children. Once we arrived at the zip line facility, the check-in process was somewhat chaotic. There didn't seem to be much organization while guests were signing waivers, getting fitted with equipment, and boarding the truck that takes you to the zip line starting point. The zip line itself was very enjoyable, and our family had a great time. The guides did a good job during the activity, and this was definitely the highlight of the tour. The sloth and monkey encounter, however, was underwhelming. The experience was very brief, and the animals appeared to be kept in conditions that raised concerns for us. While others may have a different impression, we left feeling disappointed with that portion of the tour. Overall, the zip lining made the excursion worthwhile, but the confusing meeting location, disorganized logistics, and disappointing animal encounter kept it from being a higher-rated experience.
Once the actual Ziplining starts, the experience is great! I felt safe the entire time, and the employees did their jobs with quick efficiency. But from getting off the boat to jumping off that first zipline platform, it was chaos. There was no one from Anderson Tours, who we bought tickets with, to drive us to the zipline. The zipline itself had a large wait, and the process to begin was poorly organized. we were never really checked in, the zipline gear was not partitioned or prepared for us, and despite having reservations, several parties of walk-ons were given priority despite showing up later... again, due to disorganization of the company. Actual zipline experience was a blast, so if you can overlook the stress of finding the business on your own from the dock and a chaotic start, go for it! And FWI, while the zoo part of the experience did have several animals that seemed well cared for, they were not housed in anything close to a full sanctuary. It wasn't small cages, but it was fairly tight quarters with little to no enrichment opportunities for the animals. Just a head's up, if wildlife conservation is a priority for you!
We recieve you take you to the zip line and the park me and my guys where there the hole time even yo said you enjoy everything when i ask you
This was incredible!!! The pick up location and directions to get to the venue weren’t clear and we ended up driving around for an hour before we being up basically back at the port BUT once we got there we had an absolute blast!!! The team was friendly and helpful and the experience was one of the best we have had!
If traveling to mahogany bay cruise terminal. Go to taxi area and up hill to green gate. Roatan Anderson tours is the company your looking for. Alan our tour guide was helpful and shared his knowledge of the island life. Ziplinig was fun. Need to be in decent shape.. sanctuary was good. Photo pictures very reasonable. They do let you take your own pictures in the sanctuary.
The staff at the zipline really encouraged you and interacted to make it a great experience. Saw parrots, monkeys and a sloth…😁
We had so much fun zip lining and visiting the animal sanctuary. It was a very short walk from where our Royal Caribbean ship docked. The guys at the zip lining were great and super helpful and entertaining. Then the animal sanctuary is in the same property and it was great seeing all the animals. All the workers at both places were amazing. Tip: know the company name when you exit to make it easy to find the right company. Worst case they will help you.
This was by far the best excursion we booked. Our driver was fun and informative about the island! Lots of zip lines and bridges to make it worth your time! They take some great candid shots (for $ at the end $15.00 per person) the animals were so fun and neat to see! My fav was the sloths! You won’t regret this one
