Aventura en el puerto de Sandwich: paseo por las dunas del puerto de Seals y Sandwich

We had the best day kayaking with the seals and then heading to the dunes on the 4x4 with our guide Andrew. The seals are super cute with pups getting on the kayak (which is very stable), and I was worried about getting too cold but it was fine (do bring warm clothes and a set of change as you do get water on you with the paddles and the seals jumping around). The Dunes and the scenery were magnificent, just like in the pictures, and it isn't crowded, there were 4 cars in total. We had lunch with an incredible view. You also get to see the flamingos, quite a few jackalls on the way, the salt extraction fields.. Andrew was lovely and very knowledgeable. An amazing experience we will remember!

We had an unforgettable day with Andrew around Walvis Bay! We started at the Pink Lake and salt works, then headed out on a 4x4 tour into Sandwich Harbour – driving through the dunes felt like a rollercoaster at times, but we always felt completely safe. Andrew clearly knows these dunes like the back of his hand. The absolute highlight was kayaking with the seals – a moment we won't forget. Along the way there were some really tasty snacks, and Andrew shared so much fascinating insight about the tour and Namibia. When he noticed I had my DSLR with me, he made a point of finding great photo spots for me the whole time – such a thoughtful touch. Highly recommend Andrew to anyone wanting to experience Namibia with a knowledgeable, warm, and attentive guide. Thank you, Andrew!

Our tour to Sandwich Harbour with Desert Dunes and Dust Tours was a fantastic experience for the whole family. A big shoutout to our guide Victor, who made the day perfect with his immense knowledge, explanations, and warm personality. We saw and learned so much. 5 stars! Tip: Use the morning tour, as there is significantly less going on than in the afternoon.

The experience has been disastrous Very bad location, the food was the worst I have ever encountered in my life, and to top it off, my son caught the hand, foot, and mouth virus there. It was full of kids in groups and that is the only explanation the medical doctors have given us. A horror…. I do not recommend it to anyone.

We started with the Seal Tour, which was already an extraordinary experience. Seeing the seals up close was unforgettable and our captain, Okkie, was a very interesting man who made the trip even more enjoyable with his knowledge and stories. We loved talking to him. Our Sandwich Harbour Adventure, including the seals, Sandwich Harbour and the dune drive, was one of the absolute highlights of our trip. The landscapes were breathtaking, and the places we visited were truly impressive. A special thank you goes to our guide, Gerhard, who made us feel safe and well looked after at all times. With his great sense of humor, he answered all our questions, explained everything perfectly and showed us some of the most amazing places we have ever seen. His friendliness, professionalism and enthusiasm made the experience truly special. The snack provided during the tour was excellent as well and completed the experience perfectly. Thank you, Okkie and Gerhard, for making this adventure so special and unforgettable. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Namibia!

Andrew was ann amazing guide! We had so much fun on an adventure day to the dunes and learning all about the ecosystem and nature of this beautiful region. Lunch overlooking the Sean from the dunes was super special. Highly recommend doing this tour.
