We made 4 excusions during our stay it was great. The visits are of quality and transfers in a comfortable vehicle and suitable for babies. The driver Mohamed a was adorable throughout our stay and especially very punctual. We had a great time.
Toubkal National Park was established in 1942 as the first one in Morocco. We visited it because our main goal was to climb Jebel Toubkal, the highest peak of the High Atlas and North Africa. We didn't do it with Ando, but with a hired guide. Our trek led from Tizgui to Refuge Toubkal almost all the time within the park. There is a park board in front of the entrance to the park. Next to it is the gendarmerie building where you need to register. The route leading through the park gives you the opportunity to view the Atlas Mountains from different perspectives. The vegetation is rather poor and we did not see any fauna, apart from small insects and a few birds. On the way, it is worth stopping in the Berber village of Chamharouch. Known for its small cascade, terraced fields and, above all, the Sidi Chamharouch sanctuary. There is an Islamic Marabou temple and an impressive large boulder painted white here. This is a popular pilgrimage site known for the healing power of the local water. Here you can also relax with a drink in a local cafe. On the way to the shelter, there is another opportunity to stop for food and drinks. On the way back, after climbing Jebel Toubkal, we followed the same trail, so my experience with Toubkal National Park is not very great.
Great experience. Hike was good (you needed to be relatively fit I would say) and lunch location changed due to weather so we didn’t ride donkeys
Very enjoyable trip to the Atlas Mountains. Incredible views and lovely people. Our guide Mohammed was great. He comes from the area so knew everyone. Highly recommended. Only regret is we didn’t have longer.
Super beautiful landscape of the Atlas Mountains passing through Ait Ben Haddou and the tundra gorge everything is beautiful and finally the final bouquet the Sahara ... unforgettable! everything went very well and is well organized. Abdou was a very professional driver driving serious , very friendly he was available for us and was there to answer our questions . I recommend +++!
A fantastic day among the locals. Very kind and affable people. The guide was impeccable and very helpful. The driver Abdou was also kind and stopped us along the way for a short break with mint coffee flavor. I suggest everyone buy some. The tea is particularly good in this place. Good organization.
Very good service. The driver was friendly and very kind. Good organization. We had two lovely guides who spent all day with us and explaining to us a lot of things and they took a lot of picture also with characteristics wedding dress. They also proposed us a good restaurant. The food was lovely. All the people who lives there were friendly and told us loads about the environment. The experience has been lovely and I will suggest to everyone.
Really enjoyable trip and lovely lunch as the Kasbah Toubkal. Would recommend if wanting to visit the Atlas Mountains without having to trek too far. Enjoyable walk up to the Kasbah and donkey ride back. Felt safe.
My two grown-up daughters and myself went with Hassan as our driver and guide. He couldn’t have been more helpful and he spoke good English and French. We did the hike with Karim, the girls walked and I went on a mule. The scenery was breathtaking ,all the wild flowers and fruit blossom were out it couln’t have been more perfect. The Walk was strenuous up hill but nothing we couldn’t manage and th the waterfall on the way was spectacular ,well worth the effort .Karim was an excellent guide with perfect English , very informative. His family guest house had a wonderful location with views of Touboukal. The food was lovely and the family were most welcoming and hospitable. All in all a “perfect”day . Ending with a fun camel ride along a picturesque river valley.
