I ended up being the only person on the 5pm tour. Was disappointed at first as I was looking forward to meeting people, but it ended up great. The lovely lady that ran the tasting was so friendly, and really knowledgeable. The pace was great and I learnt a lot. Definitely recommend
Fantastic. The sommelier doing our tasting - Emil - was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic, we got to learn about the history and lots of information about Armenian wine as well as tasting, great value.
Such a great experience!! The wine shop, Il Vino, where the tasting is held is lovely!! The wines were delicious and the charcuterie board that was provided was delicious. And to top it all off, our host Emil was wonderful and so full of knowledge that he shared with us!! We loved it all!!
A beautiful journey with taste, smell and sight. We could not imagine that grapes have existed in Armenia for more than 6000 years
I guess we got lucky, because for our time slot we were the only ones who had signed up and therefore we got a private wine tasting guide. The staff member who guided us was obviously very knowledgeable, he explained everything thoroughly, answered our questions and we ever got to chat off-topic a few times. We were amateurs in the field of wines, so we genuinely felt like we'd learned a lot and would therefore recommend this to anyone that wants to get more familiar with wine tasting. The place itself feels really nice and cozy, all of the walls are covered with all sorts of wines, the staff is friendly and they most definitely know their stuff. If I were living in Yerevan, I feel like I'd be a frequent visitor.
