If you have an evening spare in El Calafate, I really recommend you give this a go. Miguel and his wife were great hosts, fantastic argentinian BBQ beef and 11 like minded solo and group travellers, coming together for an awesome dinner ofcfood, wine and conversation.
The entire experience was amazing. The food, service, atmosphere; everything was perfect. I couldn’t recommend it more highly.
The restaurant was not well marked. I wasn't sure I was at the right place. I suggest hanging a sign on the door. If I hadn't heard voices on the other side of the corregated steel wall I might have left rather than rattling the door. The food was good and the atmosphere fun and lively

Wonderfully authentic ambiance, sustenance and libation. The meal was well prepared by Miguel in a charming setting of a clay outdoor oven. Each course was better than the previous. With the main dish meat being the best I’ve had my trip through Argentina 😋 Miguel is a hospitable, charming, and talented chef/host that creates a feeling of a dinner with family. ❤️ This was the kind of meal that is remembered in dreams. Miguel and Eduardo provided a warm welcome from the outset. The food and wine flowed. I think that the trip advisor description needs to be updated - the mixing is with other guests, not the food. There is no actual cooking or history of Argentinian food. But still a really good evening.
Very unique a wonderful experience. Good food and good environment. Highly recommend. I did this as a solo female traveler and felt very safe and welcomed . Would do it again!
Wonderful evening with Miguel and Eduardo! There were so many thoughtful touches including cozy blankets, special drinks, appetizers down to a delicious dessert. It was our last night in Argentina and I don’t think there was a better way to spend it. So much more than a meal, truly an experience.
Wonderful experience sharing delicious authentic Argentinian cuisine with fellow travelers. Miguel was most welcoming and generous. Highly recommend as an alternative to a standard restaurant setting.
