Descripción
Esta visita combina un recorrido a pie por el centro histórico de Arequipa, conociendo su historia, algunos de sus lugares turísticos más importantes, y combinándolo al final con la degustación y explicación de nuestro destilado nacional, el Pisco. Degustamos además algunas frutas locales y nuestro postre emblemático, el Queso Helado. Una manera diferente de conocer Arequipa en español y en inglés (en francés también es posible pero previa coordinación)

Itinerario
Barrio tradicional de Arequipa, primer lugar donde se asentaron los conquistadores a su llegada a la zona.
Antes de llegar a este lugar pasamos por el Convento de Santa Catalina y la calle del mismo nombre, en la plaza de San Francisco apreciamos la imponente estructura de su Iglesia así como el centro artesanal Fundo el Fierro.
El encuentro se realizará en este lugar, luego de las indicaciones previas, se empieza hablando de la fundación de la ciudad, del cambio que ha sufrido a lo largo del tiempo debido a los terremotos, de la Catedral, y otros detalles que evoca la memoria la Plaza de Armas.
A un costado de la Plaza de Armas se encuentra el antiguo complejo de la Compañía de Jesús. La Iglesia y los Claustros. La Iglesia resalta por su fachada barroca, su interior sobrio y altares recubiertos de pan de oro.
Uno de los mercados más variados e interesantes que existen en el Perú. Un lugar ideal para ver los productos que se ofertan en la región, tubérculos, carnes, frutas, entre otros.
Antiguos claustros del colegio y convento de los Jesuitas. El mejor ejemplo de la arquitectura virreynal religiosa en la ciudad.

The tour was excellent! We got to know part of the city in a personalized way. My little girl loved the little alpacas 🩷 it's a shame that because of the national holidays we didn't make it in time for the ice cream cheese. My congratulations to Ms. Jessica for her professionalism and kindness.
I had a great time and a lot more about Arequipa than I was expecting. We visited the Llama museum where I learned a lot about Llamas and other Camel species, as well as about pre incan civilizations. Really enjoyed getting in-depth information about the food in the market and the history of Arequipa. Daniel really did a fantastic job. He was great.
We had a wonderful time with Jose : he really knows the city well and told us great anecdotes about the city. The market visit was our highlight: we tried different fruits and meals and kids absolutely loved it! I definitely recommend the tour.
Juan our guide was very friendly and very knowledgeable . The tour took a little longer than he planned because I was suffering a knee injury. He did not rush and gave me plenty of opportunities to rest.

Jose was a great tour guide. We visited the local market and sampled many fruit I hadn’t seen before, plus “stuffed potato” and the famous Queso Helado. We also walked around many of the lovely colonial era streets and learnt about the history of Arequipa. The 3 hour tour ended with a Pisco tasting which was also very interesting.
Such a great afternoon with a brilliant and interesting guide! We discovered new streets and alleys and lots about history, culture etc. Do this!
