Después de explorar este idílico paseo por los exuberantes claros del bosque y el valle del arroyo, disfrutamos de un magnífico almuerzo gourmet, con opciones de bistec, pescado barramundi, pollo, canguro y vegetariano. POR FAVOR, INTRODUZCA SUS OPCIONES DE ALMUERZO PARA TODOS LOS VIAJEROS BAJO "REQUISITOS ESPECIALES" DURANTE LA SALIDA. Y luego terminando la tarde con un crucero en barco por el río Daintree en busca de los fascinantes cocodrilos estuarios y otras especies silvestres de este ecosistema Patrimonio de la Humanidad. Itinerario
Para comenzar la mañana, conduciremos a través de paisajes costeros exuberantes y montañosos desde Port Douglas, aprendiendo sobre la historia y la cultura de la región, mientras viajamos hacia la antigua selva tropical de Daintree.
Para nuestra espectacular e idílica caminata salvaje, caminamos a través de antiguos claros de la selva tropical y el valle junto al arroyo hasta una hermosa y aislada cascada en el Área del Patrimonio Mundial de los Trópicos Húmedos de Daintree, donde podemos nadar en esta prístina piscina de roca virgen. La caminata es de 1 hora un poco desafiante en cada sentido y requiere una condición física razonable y un buen equilibrio. Avanzamos a un ritmo tranquilo, compartiendo muchos detalles fascinantes sobre el prístino ecosistema de la selva tropical a lo largo del sendero... Luego nos relajamos y disfrutamos de un refrescante baño en este mágico Rockpool natural donde podemos nadar justo debajo de las cataratas.
Disfrutamos de un excelente almuerzo gourmet en un restaurante escondido en la selva tropical, con opciones de carne, pescado, canguro, pollo o vegetariano, y otras necesidades dietéticas atendidas. Cocinado fresco para ti por un chef del mejor restaurante de la zona. Disfrute de una experiencia adicional de degustación de frutas tropicales con su comida principal, aprendiendo sobre la historia y los usos culinarios de estas coloridas y exóticas delicias.
Por la tarde, nos embarcamos en un crucero de avistamiento de vida silvestre y cocodrilos del río Daintree con energía solar. Aprovecha la oportunidad de ver de cerca al cocodrilo más grande del mundo y trae tu cámara para ver la maravillosa vida de las aves en el estuario.

The river cruise and hike to the waterfall was a great experience. We were able to see crocodiles in their natural environment and the hike was really enjoyable albeit it a bit challenging in some areas. Allister was a fabulous tour guide, being very friendly and knowledgeable. The only negative was the tea house which we stopped for lunch. Stopping in Mossman for lunch would have been preferable.

Allister was such an entertaining and kind guide. He pointed out so many things during the drive and the walk - that really made the difference for me. And where do you get your own private lil rock pool by the waterfall in the midst of the rainforest? We loved the entire day!!

We just got back from the BEST day with Allister - we were picked up from our resort in Port Douglas and had a very informative and fun drive to the hike, the waterfall was unreal, gourmet lunch was at a hidden little restaurant then on to an hour crocodile tour where we saw heaps of crocs! Then delivered back! It was such a great day and if you are visiting you should definitely splurge on this one!

We enjoyed the full day experience seeing 6 crocodiles cruising the Daintree River, a delicious barramundi and tropical fruit lunch at a rainforest restaurant . We had a unique hike in the rainforest to a waterfall pool for swimming through a private property. Very well organised by Alistair.

Allister came and pick me at the resort where I stayed in Port Douglas. He took us first hiking in the Daintree Rainforest, telling us all about plants and animals that populated the forest and telling us what to be careful about, beside telling us stories about the forest. The highlight of this walk was for sure the swim into a secluded waterfall, which only Allister provides! Afterwards we ate at Daintree Tee House, where the owner explained us a lot about tropical fruits in our plates and we had a delightful lunch - I ordered meat and potatoes, which I highly recommend, besides being served the best fruit I have ever had in my life. The place was reserved for us only and it was a real Queensland experience, something I will never forget - the fruit above all! At the end of the day we went on a Daintree river cruise with Bruce Belcher & Sons, where we admired severals crocodiles and were lucky enough to spot rare birds as well. Allister also took us all back to our hotels and resorts.
