We spent two wonderful days in Yogyakarta thanks to Java Bali Trips and our guide Jerry. Everything was perfectly organized: the tour was fully customized according to our wishes and enriched with very helpful suggestions. Jerry is an excellent driver – always punctual, friendly, and incredibly kind. It was a real pleasure to chat with him along the way. Even when unexpected situations arose (Kraton closed), they managed everything smoothly, providing alternative solutions (Batik class) that pleasantly surprised us. Thanks to Java Bali Trips and Jerry, our two days in Yogyakarta turned into an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!
Thank you so much we really appreciate your sharing, and we will improve our service for sure
Highly recommended. The agency is super efficient and offers very professional service at a more than fair price. Thanks to them, we secured admission to the top of Borobudur and tickets to the Ramayana ballet on Saturday night. Our driver, Hanif, picked us up at the hotel and accompanied us throughout the day, providing us with all the necessary details. The car ride was very pleasant, and Hanif gave us very interesting information in perfect English. We definitely recommend the experience!
Thank you so much for sharing the best experiences with JavaBaliTrips team
Ardi was an excellent guide and driver during our visit to Borobudur and Prambanan temples. His way of working is very pleasant and he knows a lot of historic and cultural facts. Ardi loves his work and try to give the best of him.
Best regards from Ardi, and thanks for telling the world about team JavaBaliTrips
We really are so happy we managed to get Mr Ardi as our tour guide. He was extremely knowledgable about all the temples as well as the history of Yogyakarta, in fact he is Mr Yogyakarta. We learnt a lot from Mr Ardi during the trip.He also helped us with our journey to Bromo and Ijen, matur nuwun Mr Ardi 🙏
Our stay in Yogyakarta would not have been the same without Ardi and Damar… Not only was everything perfectly organized with Ardi - who was always on time - foreseeing the need for things like water, rain ponchos, or even just sunscreen (which felt like a miracle after realizing that we hadn’t packed it in the morning), but also there was simultaneously lots of room for flexibility. Throughout the 3 days we planned in the area, we ended up adjusting our itinerary multiple times due to weather conditions, and Ardi’s team’s sustained understanding was something we truly appreciated. The recommendations for local restaurants, dishes to try and tips on interacting with locals and how to avoid some less pleasant experiences as a tourist were also spot on and much appreciated. If you’re open-minded and ready for a real cultural exchange filled with sharing knowledge and interesting conversations to make you realize exactly how fascinating of a place and culture you found yourself in, Ardi is your person. By the end of the trip, you will hopefully not only feel like your worldview expanded, but that you have made some new friends on the other side of the world. Also, 11/10 for the music taste in the car (and willingness to listen to and explore your music too!). Maturnuwun!
We loved our time in Yogyakarta and that’s mainly because of our very kind and informative driver, Ardi. Even though we were only in town for two short days, it felt like we learned and explored so much of the city thanks to Ardi. He is so knowledgeable about everything, thoughtful in letting us try local foods, and a fantastic driver. Thanks again Ardi!
Our experience with Ardí was very good, we toured the temples in Yogyakarta but it also took us to meet local people from the city that made the whole experience more enriching. We recommend Ardí if you want a reliable and safe service.
This visit to Yogyakarta, guided by Ardi, was just incredible! Motivating, open-minded, adaptable and resourceful, Ardi allowed me to discover the best aspects of Yogyakarta by taking into account my personality, desires, constraints, and by calculating extremely well the sequence of the day to always take the best from a place (whether because of the weather, the number of activities desired, the geographical proximity of things he considers attractive,...) while always being very chill and smiling! He's resourceful and knows how to seize opportunities to try out local things without breaking my budget, which is why, instead of spending one day with him as planned, I spent two! Ardi is never in a hurry and is very honest: he doesn't hesitate to say when something seems like a bad idea, but won't oppose it if it's just us. Thank's again for this fabulous experience and these in-depth discussions!
We took a day trip with Ardi to both Borobudur and Prambanan temples, and had a fantastic time. We highly recommend him as a guide to the temples. We have travelled a ton and have had many guides, and I have to say Ardi is one of the best we've had. He goes the extra mile to make sure you are having a good time and also open to taking you to new experiences, but is also respectful enough to let you know the costs upfront. In addition to the temples, we also went to a local snake fruit stall, and a traditional puppet show (amazing!). He is also quite a talker (if you're into talking), and so it was nice to talk to him to learn about Indonesian culture and lifestyle during the long drive.
I participated in a one-day tour. Our guide, Ardi, was a very nice person and we really enjoyed the day. The tour does not include a guide inside Borobudur or Prambanan, but we have asked Ardi to do an additional one this time. I was very satisfied that he told me about the history and way of thinking related to the temple, and also told me the best photo spots. It was a private tour, so we were very flexible, seeing the bad weather and coming up with alternatives (as a result, we followed the itinerary at our request). I don't speak Japanese, so Ardi's tour is highly recommended if you don't have any resistance to English! Borobudur is not yet repaired, so you can't climb it, and it's important to note that even on this tour you will still see the sunrise from nearby Hill. It also appears that Prambanan is unable to climb now (as of January 2023) Minus that, it was a very good tour!
Thanks & Happy to hear the best review, kindly share to everyone!
