Explorar los glaciares más remotos y desafiantes del Lago Argentino es posible a través de la navegación, ofreciendo la oportunidad única de adentrarse en un catamarán o explorar desde los balcones y la cubierta, ideal para capturar fotografías impresionantes. El desembarco en la Base Spegazzini, un pedazo de tierra en medio de la inmensidad del Lago Argentino y el campo de Glaciares. Permite realizar caminatas con las más espectaculares vistas del Parque Nacional.

Itinerario
Después de recoger a los pasajeros en sus hoteles céntricos a partir de las 7 am, nos dirigiremos en un autobús confortable hacia el Puerto de Punta Bandera, situado a 47 km de El Calafate. Para quienes seleccionen la opción sin traslado, nos encontraremos en el Puerto de Punta Bandera a las 8:30 am para dar inicio a la navegación.
Una vez que estén todos los pasajeros embarcados, se inicia la navegación por el Brazo Norte del Lago Argentino a las 9 am. Cruzamos la Boca del Diablo con destino al Canal Upsala, navegando entre enormes témpanos desprendidos del frente del Glaciar Upsala. Al ingresar al Canal Spegazzini, se disfruta de una vista panorámica de diversos glaciares, con la oportunidad de tomar fotografías en las paradas designadas para observar los imponentes bloques de hielo.
A lo largo del recorrido, los pasajeros tendrán la oportunidad de contemplar varios de los numerosos glaciares que se encuentran en el Lago Argentino, incluyendo el Glaciar Seco, el Glaciar Spegazzini, el Glaciar Heim Sur y el Glaciar Peineta. Durante la navegación, se podrán admirar los bloques de hielo desde diversos ángulos, lo que permitirá capturar las mejores fotografías.
Se hará el desembarco en La Base Spegazzini para realizar un trekking a través del sendero de 300 metros del bosque hasta el Refugio Spegazzini. Es accesible y no representa complejidad dado que se realiza sobre terreno firme. Se hará posta en diferentes estaciones (Glaciología - Historia - Fauna y Flora) con miradores con vistas a toda la Bahía de Los Glaciares. Una vez en el Refugio se podrá disfrutar de la gastronomía, el shop y una vista panorámica increíble desde sus salones y desde el exterior (Deck & Terraza). Otra posibilidad es tomar el sendero de la montaña, de media dificultad a través de un camino boscoso, con miradores naturales, lleno de vistas increíbles que finaliza en el punto de desembarco.
Una vez de regreso a bordo del barco, continuaremos con la segunda parte de la navegación hasta alcanzar Punta Bandera, donde se espera llegar alrededor de las 4 pm. Posteriormente, para quienes hayan seleccionado la opción con traslado, el retorno a El Calafate estará previsto para las 5 pm aproximadamente.

Lugares y horarios de recogida
El traslado de recogida sólo se realiza desde hoteles seleccionados situados en el centro. Si su hotel está fuera de la zona geográfica, le confirmaremos el punto de encuentro más cercano. Indique el nombre y la dirección de su hotel.

Great boat trip. We loved the Glaciers and the lunch venue. We booked on Vaitor and there was a big mess up somewhere between Viator and the tour company. We were told 830am pick up at our hotel. We received a call at 7:30 AM to ask why we were not ready for pick up. We caught a taxi to the jetty which cost us US$60. The tour company confirmed they would refund us and after requesting a refund, they denied the refund on the basis that there was a confusion over the ticket, even though we received two reminders to pick up at the hotel at 8:30 AM. My advice is that you take great care when confirming whether you are booking a transfer or no transfer and what your subsequent pick up time is.
It was exceptional and well organised. Everything went to plan and was on time from pick up to drop off.
We were picked up by a combi from the hotel, very friendly. They took us several km to where we boarded a boat, a sublime experience, the front of the glacier is something indescribable for the extraordinary, the very good explanations, when you return they wait for you and leave you in the afternoon night at the hotel. Highly recommended. Don't stop doing it.
A wonderful experience. Unique views of the glaciers. The guides were excellent. The haven where lunch is made, beautiful and with amazing views.
Boat trip where you can see the glaciers in the distance, but it is like seeing them on the walkways and it is free... I prefer the excursion where you will touch the glacier with the blue safari. Besides, I was queuing up to be stamped on migrations and he came after us a group with a guide, and they got ahead of us to board earlier and stay in the best places, a lack of respect... they treat you like cattle... besides you complain and justify themselves... they are a lot of scumbags.

Amazing tour! Beautiful navigation across the lake, passing by the Upsala Glacier and the Spegazzini Glacier. On the way we can see icebergs that have broken off and the images are surreal! Pay extra to stay on the top deck! It is worth it! The place where we stopped for lunch also has a wonderful view!
