Comenzando la visita por el monumento más grande y espectacular que se alza como testigo de la valiente lucha contra el colonialismo francés que duró 132 años con una guerra que ofreció 1 millón y medio de personas durante 7 años para que se izara la bandera argelina con orgullo y respeto.
Nada mejor que pasear por uno de los parques más antiguos creado en 1832 en el corazón de Argel, con vistas al monumento a los Mártires y la brisa del mar Mediterráneo. El parque donde se rodó la primera película de Tarzán en 1932.
Un paseo por la ciudad del siglo X que aún es testigo de la antigua arquitectura árabe con palacios otomanos del siglo XVI y un toque de modernidad con el estilo colonial francés alrededor de la ciudad más antigua de Argel y la experiencia más auténtica.
La gran oficina de correos de Argel que representa el corazón y centro de la capital argelina, en alto desde 1910, vestida de blanco y reluciente con estilo morisco y paseando por el lado europeo de Argel disfrutando de la arquitectura francesa y las terrazas de café.
La principal iglesia católica del país que aún domina la vista de la ciudad desde 1872 y cuenta su historia sobre la era colonial francesa, la actualidad y mucha importancia política y cultural en Argelia.

Highly recommended guide! Riyadh was a very knowledgeable and personable guide. We were picked up from the airport and then taken to our hotel to drop off our luggage and refresh ourselves and then we headed out to the city. We visited the old UNESCO Casbah, walk through the French quarters, and then visited the martyrs memorial and museum, where we learned about the Algerian independence movement. Throughout our tour, Riyadh was greeted friendly by many people! His English was excellent and he reflectively answered our many questions. Our driver was promptly at every pick up point.

The day was well organised and Nouha was an outstanding guide with excellent knowledge of the city and we annoyed a well paced, fascinating and enjoyable tour.
Tour group went out of their way to help me as a solo traveller visiting the country for the first time. The tour guide on the day was very educated and spoke fluent English, providing clear historical context and interesting facts. Pick up and drop off from the hotel was all arranged as part of the tour price. The metro rides were also included. On the day they were happy to be flexible to fit around my needs.
